Which movie do you like more and why?
I love Eragon more. It had more detail than Dragonheart, more action, the dragons speak through mind instead of moving mouth.

I have no opinion on Eragon (yet) I do like that they form a special bond with certain people so that only they know what they're saying, but I've always believed that dragons (if they were real) were intelligent creatures able to master most if not all languages very easily, so I do like that Draco in Dragonheart was able to speak aloud. I like that trait better in dragons, but as for an overall review on which movie I like better, I'll have to wait

Togo, that made no sense

Okay I didn't really like Eragon all that much, since I read the book, but if someone who didn't read Eragon saw the movie, then yes Eragon was a great movie; but they left too many things out and they switched up some of the stuff in the plot. It was only a hour and 45 minutes long (somehwere along those lines and NOT including commercials). I understand that Eragon was a long book, but they left some important things out; and they even had the Elf Princess leave WITHOUT Eragon, when in the book, they both leave with a bunch of dwarves on a river, not land. Plus they didn't really emphasize that there really were dwarves in the movie. They only say 'dwarves' a few times in the movie and even say WHERE the dwarves are, but when we get to the mountains, we don't see any dwarves. For us people who read the book we could guess who the dwarves were, but people who hadn't read the book might have forgotten about the dwarves all together or were a bit confused and saying, "There're supposed to dwarves in the mountains, so where're the dwarves?"
DragonHeart I saw when I was little and was how I fell in love with dragons. Though since there was no book, to the best of my knowledge, I can't really complain much about it. I personally liked it much better than Eragon. Though it did suck when Draco died T_T I didn't cry at that part when I was little, but now I'm close to bawling my eyes out whenever I see that part T_T.
Also, everyone has a different view on how dragons talk, eat, look, interact with humans, etc. so no one can really say: "Oh, the lip-talking dragon is all wrong! Dragons can't talk with their mouths!" or even: "Dragons can't talk telepathically, that's impossible!" but then again, so are dragons; but how do we know? For all us humans know, there might be a planet out there that HAS real life dragons on it; like the ones in The DragonRiders of Pern. Though, dragons talking telepathically sounds much more 'realistic' (assuming the fact that dragons were real) since dragons are said to be conected to magic, and magic usually leads the the mind which would lead to dragons talking telepathically.
Okay, so now that my criticism is done, I personally think that DragonHeart is better than Eragon; but I will say this: THEY NEED TO MAKE A DRAGONRIDERS OF PERN MOVIE!!! ESPECIALLY IF THEY CAN DO ERAGON WITH THOSE SORT OF EFFECTS!!! okay I'm done now.

Im voting for Dragonheart.
Like mentioned earlier, if you read Eragon, then the movie wasnt all it could of been. Still a good movie but could of been alot better. Which amazingly enough, I didnt care much for the book. Very dry and drawn out...didnt think they could make the movie worse.
For what its worth, Dragonheart is now 10 years old (where does the time go!!), so there is a huge difference in graphics. Speaking of which, watch "Dragonslayer", its good to know we have come a long way from THAT.
Anyway, Dragonheart mainly because its the first movie to portray dragons in a good way. Not to mention that I, as a dragon, dont really like the idea of being telepathically connected to a human.
