The only Metallica songs i've heard are "Enter Sandman" "Seek And Destroy" and "For Whom The Bell Tolls" and so far, I like what I hear.

Actully well, now looking at the past, there music is good and everything, but, I do not respect them, I hate them, but love there music, for a few reasions, one of them is, they prooved to all there fans that they are in it for the money, they don't care about the fans or aprecaite the music, so to me that's not worthy of respect or my praise, and there last album was one of the worst CD's posible, I mean what the heck, talk about sellout^^
Id like them more if they did it for the fans and the music, but there only in it for the money and it totaly disrespects the whole concept of the music...... sad, but what can ya do. . .

I can respect them for selling out; we can't all be pure artists in it for the music. I know that, were I them, I would be willing to make as much money as I could before I retire. That being said, I do enjoy Metallica very very much. I grew up on their music, being as they were one of the bands that my parents were into. I've seen them in concert (2 years ago) and I was really pleased and suprised that they played alot of their old stuff (especially Disposible Heros, which I didn't think they woud play).
I've heard alot of mention to Master Of Puppets, which is a great album in itself, however I've got to say that I think their best work is on Ride The Lightning. Soooo many good songs on that album.
Also, for everyone here, Of Wolf And Man has to be a favorite, simply because lycanthropy or an afinity with wolvenkind is probably something many of us have a feeling about to one degree or another.
