I haven't played any of the Halo games too much (usually, it's multiplayer at my friend's house. My parents don't let me get M games...) but I have played the co-op for a couple levels. The only thing I remember the space marines in the first level say is this:

Marine 1: "Yeah-ha! We sure kicked their ***es!"
Marine 2: "You still owe me 20 bucks, though." (Or something like that...)

After that, I was more focused on keeping myself alive rather than listening to what the AI was saying or doing. I didn't even realize that the marines were doing anything... I remember hearing that whenever one gets hit with a needler, he does some over-dramatic death sequence... never seen that, though.

Anyway, I'll throw in one thing I heard the ailens say once that I found rather amusing... I threw a plasma gernade at a group of them on some kind of bridge thing, and one of them says in that high voice "Very bad thing!" I don't know, but somehow I found that rather amusing...

Just in there for effect really..the get the ocasional kil but not very much..most of the time u see them flying through the air and I get a chuckle out of it

It's a lot funny in the game it's in the beginnig of the lvl Outskirts in Halo 2.

well I already lost I can't keep them alive for more than 5 minuites no matter how much I try... lol

Personaly I love any line that sarge says, it ether is a smartass remark or a bad word, depending on what difficulty you play on, the harder the difficutly the more intece the swearing is and word usege, but I also like Mechelle Redrigez's character just because it's her^^

You know, I wonder if it's even possible to go on without the marines with you... like if they try to kill you and you kill them instead, would it be possible to complete the mission without them?

If you need a drop ship then I think your Screwd if they hate you^^

I really dont like the marines at all. To tell the truth they kill me alot more than the Covenant do. I sware, I must of but hit by one of their crappy missplaced grenades 100 times. But I do find it funny when one of them tries to throw a grenade and it bounces off the marine in front of him, hits the ground, explodes and sends them flying in the air.
