I dont think that we're ready for this level of discussion, because no discussing will come out of it only a flame war.
If you need it for school might I ask why you have not just gone around at lunch and asked, that's what everyone else does at my school.

No, no and NO! Testing beauty products on animals is extremely cruel, inhumane and barbaric! Health Products are okay...but lipstick, hair products etc. etc. ...are absoloutely disgusting...
Definetely not. Sorry if I got a little carried away, I'm very, very strongly opinionated about these sorts of things ^^
We talked about it in Science ^^ Very interesting topic ^^ Though very disturbing
EDIT: D***!!! I accidentally pressed 'yes'! Dammit...please ignore that everyone...my bad...I should've pressed 'no' xD

Animal testing on beauty products should be made illegal.
It should be tested on people since they are the ones wearing it. Just because it doesn't react with a dog's skin it doesn't mean that it won't with a humans. The most accurate and effective test would surely be performed on a human?
I read somewhere about how they test the flammability of shampoos on dogs and rabbits. Horrible.. how is it that this has not been classed as animal crulety?
I'm afraid I don't believe in animal testing under medical circumstances either.. but that's a different matter.. and just my opinion.

Well you should know they also tested chemical warfare weapons on animals, but that was during WWII. They dont do it now.
I dont like what they do but animal testing is going down, people have started looking for the "not Tested on Animals" sticker

For medicine it's okay.
For smokes and alcohol, [If they do that] then that's just harsh and should be banned.
For makeup, it's not that bad, but it's still pretty mean.
For shampoo's and stuff, I don't mind it, because I sometimes use human shampoo on my dog, and it works better than normal dog shampoo, it also smells better and makes her shinier. It hasn't made her sick yet, and I've been using it since she was born.
Flame me if you want, I won't respond.

Yes, using human shampoo on your dog can't do much harm but testing is different. The shampoo could give the dog an allergic reaction while testing.
Also, as said, they test the flammability of shampoo on animals.

True, but the shampoo I buy isn't already tested on animals, I still think it's pretty harsh, and I wouldn't buy shampoo that's been tested on animals anyway.
So does that mean they like, light them on fire with shampoo on? Disgusting..

Yes, I try to buy ones that aren't tested on animals too.
And yes, that's apparently what they do. Sick.
