Out of my fanfics, I must say that my favorite is all of my fics about Kiona. But if you want to narrow it down, my favorite is my first fic about her (called "The Wolf's Trail"). It was a very good fic of its time because I think its different to how most are written on this site.
Its written similar to how Jack London wrote his Call of the Wild story. I always loved how he wrote in animals' points of view, he made them think very different to how humans think, and it makes it seem very realistic and interesting. My fic doesn't have alot of dialogue in it, but its not really necessary, since its just a character development fic.
I like how I made Kiona's character as well. Its different (at least is was at the time) that how I made her think more like a dog and made her mentally unstable and visicous based on because she's a hybrid (like many hybrids are) I didn't read alot of fanfics about Balto's offspring having (logical) problems with their heritage (unlike Aleu) so I made Kiona (since she's the youngest girl in her family) not able to control her wolf side whenever she gets angry (cuz once wolves get riled up, there's no stopping them until they please to do so)
Another cool thing about Kiona thats unlike other versions of Balto's offspring is that at first she was afraid of her father, but she didn't know why. It was actually the fact that he was part wolf that made her afraid, because she grew up in a society that was afraid of wolves (so she basically kept her wolf heritage a secret, unless someone asked). But once Kiona realized that her wolf side was as much a gift as it was a curse, she was no longer afraid of her father.
In my story, Kiona gets chased away from her team and sets out on a journey to find a wolf (Achak) she had seen while racing. He saved her once, so she originally set out to thank him (since she had no where else to go) but once she seen him, she was spellbound by him and then felt the urge to join his pack. The thing that’s unlike others’ fanfics is that Kiona does not become the leader of the pack, even though she really wants to (she is the leader of a dog team, but she ends up being replaced). But she is physically not powerful enough to surpass the leader, Achak. The rest of her story is yet to be told in the fic Draco and I are writing ;D
I also like my fic titled "Blare of the Trumpet" which is about Muk and Luk and I don't think I've seen any fics written about them, and it had to be done. I encourage people to read that one.
But altogether, I like all of my fics.

Wow, this is a toughie.
Well, I suppose my favorite fic the I have written would have to be "Forgive Me." It all started with the whole "Kodi/Dusty" idea from WoC (Thank you, fans!) and I just moved it up to a whole new level by adding on Dusty's relationship with Ralph (since this was implied in the story, so I added more depth to it) and her mysterious past (which has something to do with her looks - read the story to find out what I mean!), plus a lot of romantic dramatic angst and parental troubles for Balto and Jenna. It's my longest story to date (and it's still unfinished too!), so if you start reading it now, you'll be caught up by the time I complete the next part!
==================
Also, I do have some honorable mentions that you guys shouldn't miss (unless you've read them already):
- Confession: Yes, the "incest" one. It's been over a year since I've written it (I started writing it late November of 2005 out of boredom . . .), and I never would have thought that it would affect so many people! I had this strange idea: what if a son and a daughter of Balto began to feel . . . close? Not like "brother/sister" close, . . . but "secret lover" close? Thus I started a trend that has now been equally hated and loved for the past year. After the success of the initial story, "Confession" had spawned four more tales that go deeper into Dingo and Saba's secretive relationship: "Longing", "Truth Be Told", "New Beginning" (a Christmas story that I wrote after "Confession", not expecting to have the previous two stories before it), and "Family Secret". Also, I have begun a sequel series to tell the tales and struggles of their offspring, "The Legacy Saga", in which their four children (two sons and two wolf-like daughters) set out on their own quests to discover that even though they were the children of sinners, perhaps they're meant for something bigger . . . something that their parents would have never expected.
If you haven't read this controversial series yet, you should at least once. Or heck, print out a copy of all of the stories too (I have a couple of fans that have done that, including myself!)!
==================
- Proud of Your Boy: This is a typical "What if" story . . . except . . . . gah, it's hard to write a summary of it without spoiling it! It focuses on Kodi mainly, and the memories of someone that he lost along the way.
Well, don't just stand there; read it to find out who it is! (BTW, thanks for the props, S.F.! Very much appreciated!)
==================
I also would like to add Mother's Intuition and The Husky's Meow, a couple of my unfinished fics. Both of these fics focus mainly on Jenna as a mother, which I feel was not shown much in the sequels. Mother's Intuition shows her relationship with her eldest daughter, Aleu, who we all know what happened to her in WQ, . . . but how well did Mother and Daughter get along when Balto wasn't there? And The Husky's Meow, . . . let's just call that the "cute fic". Jenna finds a baby animal in her house and her instincts tell her to take care of it, no matter what her lover and other local dogs say. It's a different tale, and although there are hintings of recent Disney movies in the feel of the storytelling, you really get hooked to the love that a mother and child can have, putting looks and differences aside, of course.
Both of these fics keep personalities intact on what the characters truly believe in but also add a sense of character development on their past and what is to come in their future. Must-read!
==================
Gah, it's hard to choose favorite stories when you enjoy writing all of them!

Hmm...difficult to say. I'm currently working on two - both very massive - and I can't really choose one or the other (though most people seem to favor my KodiXDusty fic Newfound Emotion - which is nearing completion, thank GOD!
Newcomer...well, Newcomer is quite lengthy at the moment (+ 150 pages) and I don't even know if I'm half-way done with it yet, though I'd certainly reccomend it. Newcomer's like my epic, the most extensive piece I've yet to write. It centers around an enormous wolf/dog named Kavik (an OC whom people seem to adore, again for no reason that I can see) who comes to Nome with his master and makes easy friends with Batlo and the gang...but trouble soon comes in nipping at the hybrid's heels and he is forced to turn to his newfound friends and revisit a painful past of love, unlikely alliances, betrayal and murder in order to take down an evil wolf he left for dead almost a year earlier and save not only the town...but two pups by the name of Kodi and Dusty as well. A rip-roaring actioner from start to eventaul finish, spiced up with a little comedy, a dash romance and a truckload of cameos. Buckle your seat belt folks: this one's got more twists than a pretzle facotory!
Newfound Emotion however, is more of a romantic comedy with a thriller twist of sorts starring our two favorite WoC sled dogs. Kodi goes out one sleepless night for a midnight stroll and finds Dusty beaten to within an inch of her life in an alley and left for dead. The next day, a confused and (though he doesn't yet know it) lovestruk Kodi is forced to leave her to recuperate at home while he leads the team on a particularly lengthy mail run with Dusty's non-too pleasant-replacement, while Dusty must contend with her new feelings for Kodi...leaving both dogs to VERY slowly realize their true feelings for one another. All this would be well and good...if, that is, Dusty's attackers didn't have other plans in mind. This has some good, often times funny dialogue - and is my first attempt at a strictly romance/relationship-centered piece that illustrates all the trials and tribulations (both mental and physical) two people must sometimes overcome in the name of Love.
Bottom line: if you've got the time (and would like to humor me,) look them up on the board (Newfound Emotion seems to be INSANELY popular for some reason or another...though I'm not sure why. Oh well, not like I'm complaining! Every little bit helps!) Newcomer is currently on hiatus until I finish off Newfound Emotion...which should be done in the next week or so. Again, check them out if you want and thanks for taking the time!

How do I choose? Writing each fanfic has been a great experience. But if I was backed up, at gun point, what I would probably blurt out would be The Orange Bandana. That fanfic seemed to come out of nowhere, and yet it registered with so many people.
