Now, I don't like to look for bloopers in films but I just want to see whether its just me who noticed this..

In Balto 1, in some scenes, he is clearly a shade of brown. However, in others, he appears grey. Throughout WQ, on the other hand, he seems grey.

Do you think that Balto was intended to be grey or brown.. or a mixture of the two?

this is good point i think its just a animation error or something but he is brown in the first one so i say that he is meant to be brown and not grey puls WQ was just a big mess too it was badly done so i really think he is shade brown.

I think that in the first movie he's naturally the color in the first box, but his fur color changes because of the light. And for the second movie, if they even payed any short of attention to Balto's color, that they figured "Eh, his fur color changed throughout the first movie, if we keep it THIS color, no one will notice." Same with the third movie, since he looked awfully purple (and i don't buy that "aging" crap)

I think it is the lighting for Balto 1 Starsky  I think he was meant to be a mix, and was more brown originally, but became grey in the 2nd and 3rd movies. I prefered his original colour though.

Yes, I believe so too.

I think he looks better brown than grey. In Balto 2, he looked almost identical to Aleu in his colouring.

I think he is brownish grey, but depending on the shading and screanery, it makes one color stand out more then the other, view also is apart of it^^
