Please tell me I'm not alone on this...
Well if you were in traffic violation then he had every right to give you a ticket, but if you weren't then that officer is a prick^^

I havent gotten any yet, but I just started. Lol Speeding on the highways isnt that bad so long as your under the cops speed, 90mph. And just yesterday I saw a guy that was basicly out in the intersection that didnt get a ticket, the cop was right next to him!!
but there is a lot of times where I feel there needed to be a cop present.

Very few people in this world have perfect driving records, Swords. A simple moving violation like that will probably not put any points on your record...so the worst that is likely to come out of it is the monetary fine (and any traffic court appearance, if one is required in this case). And the beating you're giving yourself over it. If there are no points, it will not stay on your driving record.
You'll get past it, buddy. Have faith. There are many, many worse things one can do in a car.

Well, the laws in your state may be a little different than those in mine (which are actually quite tough). But the real issue is points. If there will be no points on your license, then you're not as bad off as you think. Still, you're a male under the age of 25...the insurance companies, the police, the judicial system, and the motor vehicles division of most states tend to be prejudiced against any male under the age of 25 who drives (and even moreso when that young man has a sports car...and MOST especially a red one. Or a car that is obviously beyond his financial means. Not suggesting you are that kind of person, but the prejudice is still there).
Good luck, buddy. Don't let them get you down. The system is what it is...out of order as it may be.

Swords of the Wolves, it happens. Believe me, it's happened to me. I just got lucky enough to have gotten pulled over by a police officer that liked my car, so he let me go. My parents never found out, which is for the best. I hope that they take it easy on you.
BaltoSeppala, if what you say is true, I may be in trouble!!! I knew I should've gotten a different color. (Always go with your first choice I was told, but did I listen, of course not!!!).

Sad to say, Luka, it is. You might ask an insurance agent at a company which specializes in auto coverage. They will (or SHOULD) tell you the same. It has to do with visual Doppler shift (color shift). Red cars often seem closer than they really are. The visual Doppler effect, if I remember my "drivers ed" correctly, runs from a red to blue shift of visible light. Red is the approach, and blue is the departure. It's an illusion created by the shifting of light across a moving object. When a vehicle is already red, it throws off the Doppler shift. And because red is the "approach", it can present a danger. Supposedly.
Professor Balto will now hope that what he said is accurate, and will remove his mortar board. lol

Red Mustang, basicly any year will direct the most attention to you.
My dad has not been in a real car wreck, the worst that's happened is when he was like 20 something he skided the front wheels over a ditch in a front wheel drive car.

You ain't having fun till you've completely obliterated a car...LOL
Seriously though, a minor violation is nothing. I rolled my old car three times, that sucked.

I was going to go with the Monaco Blue Metallic, but no, I had to go with the Crimson Red because I'm stupid! I asked my mother if I could trade it in for the blue one, but she said that there was no way on this earth that she would put that kind of money in something "stupid" like that. So, I guess I'll just have to be extra careful.

Monaco blue metallic...isn't that one of the colors offered on the BMW M3?
