Has any one seen this movie? Its mostly about the russians part of the Battle of Stalingrad and the snipers that was in it. and it was based on a true story.

American movies always change the plots of the books or history.

I thought it was an awesome movie. Esspecially when Vasily kills his first five Germans with a regular rifle. That takes serious accuracy!

I'm not saying it's a bad movie, some of it is hollywood though, like when she saw the sniper through the glass and stuff like that. The battle for Stalingrad was an amazing battle, however. I'm surprized that there wasn't much more casualties.

There were more casualties, a lot more. The film producers just didn't show them. Go figure.

I know there was a lot of casualities, but its surprizing there wasnt more. It was all street fighting and sniper battles, very scary. Talking about scary, I just saw War Of The Worlds.

I saw it. Great movie. It shows well the violence of the fighting between the germans and russians during WW2 like when they are sent to charge with only one gun for two soldiers.
