`Kay. seriously - I can't take it anymore. What's with ALL this love roleplaying? Sure, it's okay every so often, but... if you look at some roleplays, you see things related to love. If you want to rp wolves, dogs, cats...whatever, they don't ONLY look for love if their life and if you didn't kno...they mostly look for survival... Can't there be some more exciting RPs ? Not an RP that sounds good from its title, then when you get in there - there's nothing but love. It's sad, really. but I do get it with fanfics... but still. XC

I haven't visited there in forever, and I agree. When I do go there it's always those stupid people who use SMS for everything, and the posts look like this:

'givs chasity a choclate chip cooky!!!!! u r cool!!'

For dogs in real life, chocolate chop cookies would be poison, and I've told them that, sure it's 'just RP' but still, you could be a little more reasonable then that..

The mods have told them that mates arent allowed, so now they call them 'Monkeys.'

I don't normaly go to roleplay, but I know what you mean. That is in the rules,why can't people just listine to the rules? thats why I don't rolepaly cause, I don't want to get involved with any of that stuf and get band cause I was in that roleplay. Some times i think there should be Roleplaying mods. Shure the shoutbox mods are mods in the roleplaying mods too, but I hardly ever see anymods there.

I guess that'd be annoying, but there if you want to be all lovy-dovy, then go to a private forum. That's what I did with my online mate. We kept it away from the public forums so we didn't piss anyone off.

The very best thing that can be done about this is,send Dark_Wolf a PM,she'll be able to handle it.

We're talking about the RP box on the main site, not the forums. Numorous people have told the shout box mods about it, but the people don't want to listen.

I think the most effective way to stop all this is, band those people who are doing these roleplays.

No i'm talking about the RP on the forums, even though you are sitting right beside me at this moment. and, yeah... i think banning is way to far, but all this love rping is getting me sick...like its okay and all but yeah too much

IMO it happens more on the RP shout box..I have seen it on the forums though..

I really don't see anything wrong with the "love" RPs on the forums where so-and-so gets a mate. That's not really mate-talk. It's kinda like a fanfic with numorus people.

But RPs like that one the RP SB is annoying. Those people that ARE 'mates' and talk and RP like that all the time should be banned for at least a little bit.

Well, it's not too out of control. The mods have most of it under control, but sometimes one or two "I love you"s will slip out from under us.
I'm against having mates on the site completely. All it does is cause problems. Most people take their love lives to the shoutbox or the forums, and it annoys the heck out of me. Sure it against the rules, but 99% of the members seem to forget that when they get here. I hate that.

The RP'ing on the boards is even worse. In the chat box, you can type very little and it'd look like several lines. On the forums however, there's mainly RP'ers here who don't give much thought into their posts. Some posting 1 liners and, i've even seen one member who kept doing 3-4 word posts. It'd be things like 'Runs faster' or 'Jumps out of the way'. I quite the RP just because i couldn't stand that anymore. The only time i RP in the chat box is when members im familiar with are there.

I think RPs like that on the forums (with the ones lines and not complete sentences) should just get deleted. Those are annoying and take up space. If people can't follow the rules there, they shouldn't get to RP.

There is absoloutely nothing wrong with love in RPs! It is a very interesting and cute thing to add in RPs!

I think this rant is a little pointless - no offense! But, seriously, tell me what is so very wrong with love in a RP! XD
