Hey, I'm not one to argue over Wolf Quest, personally I like the movie and just forget about the silly stuff in it and ignore the stupid bloopers. But there is one thing that has always been on my mind.
Why does Alue hate being part wolf so much? I mean, If I was her, I would be proud to be part wolf! Besides, she is wolf anyway, all dogs desend from wolves. And you never see cats saying, "Oh dam, I hate being related to a lion" Which is like the exact same thing? So why is it such a bummer being part wolf? Is this some sort of thought that wolves are bad and evil? I just wanted to point that out. Its really a mystery to me why she is so annoyed to be part wolf. But in the end I guess she is more proud, but why at the start? But maybe I am just being silly. What do you think?

Well, you could be right there. She could just be upset about the secret, and it would explain some things I think. But it kinda confuses things again when Alue says in the movie: " Oh great, so my grandmother was a wild animal?" I may have made a little mistake in there but it is along the same lines, and she said it in a way to say that it was bad.

Aye, I probably would too. But, as I said before, it was pretty obvious she was half-wolf. She looked like one and howled like one. She's just thick

Hmmm...well maybe. But, if she knew what a wolf was, she'd know what they look like. And after all, their most identifying feature is howling. And Alue howls like a wolf

Here's my two cents:
The only reason Aleu got so upset about hearing that she was part wolf was because her father had kept that secret from her all this time. I mean, he could have told her when she was the last in the adoption box when he knew very well that there was no chance a human would adopt her for looking so wolfish. (Although there were some humans that took a liking to her, but ended up with one of the others instead - probably their parents saw Aleu looking so wolfish and signaled to their children to not choose her . . . or perhaps, Aniu had some sort of interference?)
That's the reason why she was so angry about having wolf blood in her. I suppose she never really cared about looks in the first place (and I guess that AmericanWolf is right: Maybe Aleu had never seen a real wolf before in her life prior to the whole "quest".), and you know how most children are: their innocence makes them easy to get along with others their age (unless they knew that she looked like a wolf).
But, if you think about it, I have a feeling that she knew something was different about her all along ("I knew there was something wrong with me!" - Aleu, from after Balto tells her that the hunter thought she was a wolf.), she just didn't realize that some of the things she did normally reflected that hidden wolf inside her.
But you noticed that in the end, she was proud to have wolf in her. She ended up living in the world that she looked (and acted like) she belonged in - the wild, far away from the threats of humanity.
And for the last time, Aleu is not half-wolf - Aleu is only 25% wolf, just like her brothers and sisters. She just ended up with all the wolf mannerisms and physique, that's all.

I think it was just a feeble attempt to give Aleu a purpose in the movie, so they tried discreetly making her a little whiney brat about it. Although, they failed at the "discreet" part (it was quite obvious that she had a bad attitude and needed a permanent time-out). Or, realistically, she could just be stupid.

I second that. WQ was very rushed...the Animators didn't really care. I think she was just stupid though. Unless, as you said, it was just an attempt to give her a purpose in the movie

Hm, She's just a -blocked-. She can't help it.
And, plus - Wolf Quest is pretty stupid. "Who the -blocked- am I? Oh no, I don't know who I am. Omg, I HATE YOU FATHER! Wahhh, I GOTTA GO! Must find who I am. Lollll, the movie's about ME - the -blocked- WOLFfie.."
Okay, that was a bit childish. But, it's just part of the movie. Bad animation, Bad voices, Bad Songs, and a stupid wolfdog.
