i also love that movie.. its so cool.. i liked those imperialistic times.. i like the way they used to fight lol with old muskets and cavalry.

i guess my favorite char of that movie is Mel itself.. or that bad Captain of cavalry that dies at the end by the flag of the USA

My mom's obsessed with Heth Ledger, so I've seen it. My favorite character is the Priest dude, because OMG...he's Odo from DS9!!!!

Some people just don't like a lot of blood. It doesn't mean they just want happy movies like the Care Bears or something. Some people (like me) just don't take pleasure in seeing people's heads and arms and legs sliced off, or heads blown to bits, or corpses, or...I hope my point has been made.

My apalogise if I offened you redwolf03 and I am not implying that people who don't like blood only want to watch Care Bares. Wait, juat take a moment to pcture that. The Patriot done in Care Bear style. WOW, that is truly scary. Any way, I was not out to get anyone with my statement, and I was mostly refuring to my cousin's mom. She tolatlly freaked when I told her we watched it a school. I tried to explain the reasoning that we are studying the wars of the revolutiom, but it was not regerting. She was still like this, "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOUR BRAIN IS NOW POSISONED!" I was thinking get a grip. Also it was interesting because alot of the people were so into the movie that they were rooting for America. I shocked a few guys in my class. now that was prioceless, the look on their faces I mean.

And just because one likes movies with alot of bloody stuff in it dose not mean they take pleaseure in that, well it may. Also you make it sound like a bad thing also, liking movies with stuff like that in it. I do not see anything wrong with it, but maybe some do, again I would not be one to say. Some people like myself, just get so sick of watching movies that are not action filled and loved the change. If I am going to watch a movie, whitch I do rarely, I want it to be worth my while. So action packed war movies it may be.

So yet again redwolf03 and all the others who may be irrtatedm angered, feel put down by, feel slamed, or inraged at my coment, I am sorry and there is my explanation.

I loved the ending with raising the flag and my favorite chracter had to be Gabrial, the patriot guys oldest son. I'm a person that should never pick a fav. crachter 'casue they either die or go evil. Well Gabrial lasted to almost the very end and I was all, "YEAH I PICKED A PERSON THATS NOT GUNNA DIE!" and then, low and behold he died. So now i have learned....
