Coincidence or not, that's really sad. Just going about your daily life, you're going to buy a game, and out of nowhere, trouble smacks you in the face. I'd hate to have been that guy. The way you worded it made him sound like he died. Did he get injured severly, or is he dead?

The guy was an idiot, if he gave the robbers his money, and he wouldn't have gotten shot. It's his fault for being headstrong.

My opinion, you may think it not fit here but i think it fits: people is too anxious to have the console frist ever as anyone, so them is like a boom to go the stores and buy the console in the frist day, so the thiefs know: this is my day of lucky...
An a rule in the eletronic world: who buy after buy a cheaper and better equipament, because that i will definetively wait some years to buy ps3.
Well, im sad for the people that get shot, but I thinbk if the could control their anxiousity to play the ps3, this would not happen

nothing happened with the Wii because A. It's alot less then the PS3 witch means less money, and B. The PS3 has a very small amount coming to each store meaning people will flock to them to get one.
Alot of people here arrested because they were beating people to get ahead of the line.
A 55 year old was taken in! 55 that's old enough to be someone's grandfather

i saw that on the news, also another thing that was on the news aswell is, well the stores still have PS3 in stock, but they are waiting for Sony's approvel to put them on the shelves, so they said December 1st is the next batch on the shelves....... I also phone the Sony Company to talk to there head, but unfortinately they have been busy all ***** day..... so can't......
And that poor little kid who got trapled man I feel so sad for him, but thats humanity when the animal inside takes over.....

Then I guess I'm an idiot too. I wouldn't give them my money either. And no, it's not his fault. Some people would rather keep their money. What's wrong with that?

What he's saying is that you usually should give someone your money if they have you at gunpoint, unless you know how to defend yourself, but this guy had some other gunmen with him, so it wouldn't have done much if he knew how to fight off the gunman. I'd at least try to get away from that guy and just wait to buy the PS3 some other time...
