Cars in general are a wide open subject, so I could see a new one coming out.

WHAT?! ABSURD! I only saw Cars is because Brsd Paisley and Rascal Flatts were featured in the lineup for songs. OOH! AND JOHN MAYER!
I actually learned guitar by watching him and copying hand movements.

As others said disney is now famous for destroying originals with sequels so I would not be surprised at all. I am just sick of the way they think now. This is why japanese make anime in 2D still. They know it never gets old. 3D and sequels are the worst combo ever. They aggravate me. Sept Bambi 2 was pretty cool.

They are famous for destroying old cartoons with sequels, not new movies. I believe that a sequel of a new 3D movie, even if badly done, doesn't ruin the original that much, because even the originals aren't that good either... This doesn't mean that I don't like Cars, I just say that you can't compare it with Bambi or Dumbo.
Well they could actually ruin it still. They could make the characters do something that is totally not related to number 1. Its how they flow.

Pixar is who makes them, not Disney, just because Disney has its name on it, doesn't mean they make it.. besides, Toy Story and Toy Story 2 are great films.. I think they are more focusing on new films at the moment anyway, since they are bringing out a new film about rats next, forgot its name.

Sequels didn't completely destroy the original, since sequels were at least seperate stories. Now midquels, THEY hurt the classics, because they almost completely modify their predessessor in almost every way they can.
