Hi!!! :D

I was wondering does anyone have a graphire tablet (I think thats what its called) I want one and could someone tell me

how good it is; where they got it; and it it easyer than doing photoshop with a mouse??

My cousin has it at his school and says doing it by mouse is easyer and that somtimes you press the tablet on one side, and the pen thinks your on the other side. The only way he got it 2 work was drawing on paper and placing it over the tablet.

Im clueless here!!!!

I use a wacom tablet though I have Wacom Intous 3 it is similar to the Graphire. I would highly suggest getting a graphire if you work on the comptuer alot. They are extreamly reliable are also quite affordable as well. I use my tablet everyday. The Pressure sensitivity in all Wacoms is beautiful.

I suggest the size 4x5 to 6x8 it may seem small but I assure you any bigger size will be a waste of money. You only need a small space, tablets work different then paper those sizes will fit your entire computer screen. Tablets don't just work on photoshop they work in just about every program even Paint.

I have had a Graphire 4 since May. Its the best thing that I've bought. It comes with a software bundle that includes Photoshop and other nifty programs. I have a 6x8 it was 199$. I dont suggest it for the weekend artists. Liek if you draw eery day I recommend it.

thankies now I know 4 sure its on the top of my list :santa: :rendeer:

I do not use Photoshop, but Corel Painter IX. Graphire Tablets... I use a Wacom Tablet, it's just like drawing on paper, but your art is digitally put onto the screen... so you're drawing normally, but instead of looking at the tablet you watch the computer screen. AT first, it's a bit strange, but you'll get the hang of it.

If you're really serious, you should deffinately get one: But they don't come cheap, they are very costly. It was my big present for Christmas last year. It helps a lot!

So yes: Very easy to use once you get the hang of watching the computer screen instead of the tablet. Happy drawing! :D
