It's veteran's day today and I thought it would be nice to have a topic honoring all soliders from all places and ethnicities.

Soldiers who at one time they decided to put their neck in the line for their country and people, all who were fighting the same... both teams scared of each others, all just humans.

To the gone but never forgotten, fallen; some never recognized but still fought and died, knowing how devastating war is. They all diserve recognition, farewell my fellow soldiers :salut:

There is a war going on, it's not as deadly as usual but fact it that even if they don't show it on the news around 2 soldiers die daily.
It is only when you give up that you trully lose.

Here you can talk about maybe someone close to you is a soldier, or maybe your grandpa was a soldier, here is the place to rember them, personally I think no war is ever a winner, it only starts more and more fights and death..death of soldiers takes from war it's glory, here you can put also those kinds of thoughts, and please be respectful to everyone, thanks.

I made a tribute to them, only it was for memorial day last year, but it still honors the soldiers. It's in my BaltoSource art gallery.

From my grandmother's side, her father, her cousin, her father's brothers and etc. All died in the cold winters 1939 while defending their own land, independence, and their own honour.
Like many others died in those horrible places at the war that lasted over 100 days, and in times when soldiers fell on grave 1941-1944, luckily Tali-ihantala was famous victory! And Soviet Union didn't capture Finland. Aye, salutions for veteran's of the war, Granpa from mother's side Artillery Soldier joined when 15 and from father's side a soldier in a line something like that.

(Not trying to be a perfectionist freako here) Veteran's Day is actually on Saturday, November 12th. Although, at my school we are celebrating it tomorrow by wearing red, white, and blue. Both my parents are veterans, so I like to get all patriotic and stuff.
