Ban Bisexual and Homosexual Fanfics?

Ok this pole is about seing if banning bi and gay fanfics from the site is a good idea and people please post your opinions along with your thoughts^^

Also keep in mind that if those types of fanfics keep up, we lose a family member, and when a family member leaves it hurts us all weather we know it or not, familys stick together and are always there for each other, so please chose family insted of the lifeless words, I can't make you chose because you are human and can chose on your own.... just please keep that in mind of one of our family members will be gone and won't come back.....

My choice is FOR FAMILY!!!!!!^^

Also sorry if this topic offends anyone but im not going to say sorry because I don't feel bad for doing this, Family always comes first^^

I am split down the middle, I would say keep ones that have no sexual contect, if it has none, there is no reason from allowing members too place fanfictions, especially if the gay characters are made up, so I cannot vote, I would say keep them but have strict rules.

Well maybe if those bi and gay ones didn't have anything to do with balto then then it might go well, like if they have nothing to do with balto then your not shaming anything because balto is not in it or related in anyway..... hmmm

And before some jerk says it, I am NOT a homophobe. I just want this whole thing to be rid of once and for all.

I found when they first were done I found them interesting, but it was once ok and interesting but now, all the same stuff and to many posers it just lost it's special spark to it and is well not as entertnating as it used to be, everything has an ending point, id say there ending point of interst was lost for me, but im not sure of anyone else...

I'm sure there are people that will say "we should have the freedom to write whatever I want." What they are really saying is "F-U I wanna be just like my idol and get popular." With the exception of few writers, they are just plain unoriginal and desire popularity.

Before it would be ok because it would actully be wanting to be there idol, but now that is a lame A** excusse and well this time there is apart of BS that will die if Sepella leaves and chosing fanfics over apart of bs then that is not cool and personaly I rather be popular with people who are descent and respectfull, nice, kind insted of a small group of friends who use lame A** excusses to write stories and all they do now is offend people....

I know what you mean^^..... insperation comes from inside you, not from someone who does wrong or is disrepectfull when someone asks them to stop.

Insperation can come fron the simplst place......... like take Balto for instance, so much can come out of that insperation.

I fell asleep and listned to one song and I came up with a whole story, the simplst things can give you alot of insperation, Stephen Kind all of his insperationa nd ideas are all dreams he had, another way of finding it....... insperation can be in the place you least expect it or right in front of you..... so don't copy others and find your own^^.

now, I think this answer could go both ways for me.

Yes, I think banning them might be a good idea because it gets rid of sick fan fictions,

HOWEVER...

I think they shouldn't be banned because a) you'd make a lot of people angry because they think their story is just as good as everyone else's (which is could very well be) and b) you're instantly labelling the fic inappropriate without a second thought. It's like calling someone a dork before you get to know them.

If fanfics involving heterosexual romance is allowed, so should homosexual romance. if you allow gay fanfics I might actually start checking out the fanfic section.
