Yeah, colds are really hard on me this time of year. On Friday, in fact, with the band I had to play a home football game and it was soo cold! Our director has this thing with hoodies during pre-game, so I took my jacket off. It's a black light hoodie and a jean jacket over it. I was sick before the game, and passed out. I walked to my friends Dan and Eric and was coughing really hard and like crazy. D- "You sure you wanna go on?" Me- "Yeah. I'm sure." ((Note: I have played band concerts with pneumonia))
So we went on the field, and I almost passed out, running into my friend Anthony. He helped me off the field and we got to the chairs. I pulled my jacket on, but I was so sick and cold already it didn't help. I sat down at the band things and was shivering so bad, the chair was shaking. Dan was really concerned and tried getting me off the field, but i wasn't moving. ((as in, I wouldn't.))
Soo, I started coughing stuff up ((to this day I have no idea what...)) and my band director noticed and told me to get off the field. I did and he took me to an ambulance, because I was shivering so bad. We got in and the EMT checked me out, said I was crazy for coming with my being so sick. But after 15 minutes I went back onto the field, dispite many, many protests from the EMT and my director. He gave me another hoodie to put over the first and I went to sit by the guys and they tried keeping me warm, but after fifteen minutes, i was back in the same state. But I didn't want to go back to the ambulance, so I just kind of hid it whenever the director was around.
Now, here's where th story gets interesting. Dan got his hoodie stolen, so I stupidly took my hoodie off and gave it to him, making it even colder. My body was reacting harshly to the cold as I was shoving the hoodie at Dan. We fought over it until finally, I felt like passing out, so Iested my head on my saxophone. Anthony put the hoodie on my head and covered my body with it. After the first quarter, I felt like passing out, so Dan ehlped me to the gate, then James took over, then Anthony. I went home and was shivering and coughing the whole weekend long.
What sucks is, we lost the game...

I usually get light snuffles, not so much a cold but snuffles in the winter but as the temperature changes between Summer and Autumn I often get flu-like symptons.
I also find that at night sometimes I'm really hot and feel feverish so open the windows and turn the heating down (much to the family's disapproval) but then in the morning I wake up very cold and with a stomach ache. That's only a recent thing though.

Well yeah, but we only had to play the 1st half but we couldn't have coats in 32 degree weather...maybe that's a tad bad...we a;lso had to prepare an hour before game time. but there aren't any more football games bc we lost that games, it was the playoffs.
