I got the picture that a lot of people were getting irritated by the fact that there were soo many contest/adoptions on the fanart forum. Well Steet solved that problem but now we contest/adoption makers have a problem we all have to cramp all our contests/adoptions into one topic I mean I know it is a lot to ask and it means more work for Steet but wouldnt it solve all of our problems if there was a space for the contest/adoptions wouldnt it? I think it would

Yes please! It is very irritating sometimes. I myself have entered 1 contest on the forum and adpted 2 pups as well but, too many are poping up all the time.

OKAY I read the topic and aveything but I still do not get it.

NO! I honestly don't see a point in making one. It'd get flooded with stupid contest and adoption topics so quickly, and, why do people even make new characters to be adopted ? What if they want them back ? Also, some of the contests make NO SENSE what-so-ever. And there's no point in a lot of them too. Imagine the.....the space it would take up. Most 'decent' contests are forgotten about anyway. I can understand a very good contest such as, if you're really at a loss, then it's okay to make a topic about a cover for a fan fic. But, as I said before, most contests are pointless. Such as (an example, no ones in particular):

Topic: DRAWING CONTEST HERE

Then there's a due date, and the prize ? Oh no prize, just for fun *TEEHEE*

STUPID ! It's not even worth posting. People just starting getting the ideas from other people who had REASON to post their contest/adoption topics. If you have characters you really want to give up, and never EVER use them, there's a good reason.

So, I say no, I've got more reasons but I have to go. I'll edit this later T_T

If it was possible to make sub-sections, I would have made one. But it's not possible for now, it will come with the next version of the PhpBB boards. Until then, making topics was the only solution.

Oh please just ban them all together, they are so useless, people cannot be bothered too make their won characters so they have too rely on others, well thats creative.

ok steet now I see why you just made the topic but everyone is all cramped in the one topic, Im not asking you to make loads of topics Im just saying that people are getting a bit irritated

to Bagle if there was a a sub section for Contests/adoptions then wouldn't that be the point to fill it up?

to Roxas there are a lot of people who would dissagre with you including myself, I have had quite a bit of artists block lately and so made a fanfic contest and so far I have had quite a few good entrys which have helped me alot. Why ban something that is doing no harm to you, it is up to people to choose if they want to hold a contest and if it helps them, then thats a good thing isnt it? Banning the contests/adoptions would only cause more arguments and more hassle for steet, cause if steet bans them then who is going to get the blame for it by the people who actually like contests/adoptions? I dont think it would be you.

to Baltoowner it basically means that would you prefer it if there was a sub-section on the forums were people can post contests/adoptions

and to x_x_Emily_x_x finally some one who agrees with me even if you dont like the contest/adoptions yourself

Like Bagel said. NO! I don't think they should be gotten rid of all together, but they will do just fine how they are now.

have you had a look on the topic were we all are right now? its so cramped that people dont know which contestants are for which contest and to add to thatsome of the good worthwhile contests have gone because the people who created them dont like the Idea of being so cramped. Now I do agree that some of the contests were absolutley pointless and the owner just made them for the sake of it but now I dont think anyone wants to post there contests (the good ones) and only a few have which are either getting one reply or none

but how do I do it. And it does not mean I do not like it.

Well how do I get there. ? I think it's an great idea.And I just read it wrong.

To be clear : I don't want to make a section on the main page, BUT as soon as the next version of the forums will be available and will be installed here, I will make a sub-section in the fanarts section for them.
