Ok so in BS drawing galleries there is number of "faves" you get and for some reason a lot of people want to have the most faves even though their art sucks so they go and leave an insignificant comment like --> "kool art *faves* -- and then they do fave you... for 2 days! they exepct you to fave them back without acctually having you on their faves this is pathetic. Not only should you not fave someone because they faved you first but if you fave someone is because you want to continue to see their art. This is beggining to piss me off a lot, another thing similar to this is that most of the galleries with the most faves are pretty good but I've seen some that just suck and have around 30 faves, there are so many artists out there not getting any recognition at all for their drawings and I mean original drawings, I think there should be something like a time limit you should have, for example you fave someone and you won't be able to remove that gallerie until at least a week or so. this bring me another question where is the creativity? sure there are good artists without recognition but they keep getting ignored.

You are being a bit closed minded. Just because someone doesn't draw as good as good as another artist doesn't mean the art is crap. I've seen some galleries with very good drawing talent but, with very little creativity, so don't judge on the spot. I've also seen some art galleries with drawings that were 'poor' but, the creative ideas were enchanting!

ex: Let's say Catwhohas14tails drew as great as she did but, all she drew were wolves standing with a blanck expression on their faces. She wouldn't have even half the faves she really had.

I get what your saying, but no I didn't mean something like that at all when I said suck I never meant their art was crap just poor but it's not fair that someone who's art is poor but creative has 30 faves when there's maybe an artist with half the creativitiy but very good skills and only 3 faves. so creativity there's not much neither is there good art acctually even less for good art, judge on the spot no I have 2 years watching this kind of thing happen, anyways that was not the point of the topic just a side.

I actulay agree with you. I won't write a whole long speal about it, but I do agree and it has become pretty annoying that people do that.

i stand by my point, creativity beats the talent but, I do agree with you about one thing. When people say that your art is good and then they do as you said. That is not polite and is not fair.

I fail to see creativity from the majority of people on this site.

It's a very good point but like cat I have to agree a bit, there's not much creativity never the less that is somehow extremist since out of about 500 galleries I doubt only around 20 of them have creativity, so that's matter of opinion creativity beating talent I think they should be balanced, perhaps that is why poor drawings with a bit of creativity have more faves.

Creativity is based on effort of both skill and idea. Basically, anyway. It's not really an opinion thing tho... Someone can have everyone hate their stuff, but they can still be creative. And with the wrong amount of faves thing going on around the site, it's my guess that people have so less creativity that they've also forgotten how to identify it.

Well that's one way of seeing creativity but puting creativy that way, then I would have to agree with Cat, then people forgeting how to identify creativity lol, I think that's the case for some people but most people are smart enough to just "suck up"/talk their way out to other people and get a wrong number of faves, whatever the reason is; they are doing this so they're all pathetic.

The honest truth is people don't want to hurt other's feelings. It's okay to call someone's art "Cute" when all they have is a blue blob with stick legs and call it a wolf, but FAVING them? THERE'S the problem.

I agree. I also can't stand it when people don't even have art up yet and people still say 'AWESOME! CANT WAIT! FAVS!' I guess it is mostly their decision who they put in there faves, but I still don't see the point of having it if your going to put every single gallery in your favs anyway.
