OK, this is a new anthro fic but I need ot edit a lot of stuff, this is the first chapter.

Note: This is all fiction! This NEVER happneed, I just wnated ot do a Kodi Katie anthro story. That is all...






Prolouge

Flagstaff , Arizona was at first a small one horse town, first congugated by a small family of four. Two adults and their son and daughter. The Maternal leader of this family was a woman named Lenatei Wolfe. By Flagstaff there was a lake, huge. Too huge for it bei n Arizona. But, it is said that Lenatei would bring her little daughter there to get water for the family, wash clothes and so on.

Months passed as the family stayed in that spot, more and more traveling families made their homes side by side with them, so Lenatai was found at the lake more and more as well.


After two years or so, Lenatei went out one foggy night to the lake, water was needed for her fmaily. So, she quietly snuck form her bed and wnet into the shallows of the lake, noo ne could see her in fog.

That night, a shot rang out fomr the fog.

Everyone scattered outside the lake to see hwat happened as Lenatei's husband, Bashkei rani nto the fog, moments late,r ocming out wiht red hands and Lenatei's limp body in his arms.

She had died when the soht rang out.


Now 10 or 20 years have passed isnce Lenatei's death, two siblings had to take of their sick Father in his old age, as well as the small business they have. The mans daughter woorking as a showgirl at one of the bars in town while his son is a deputy for the sheriff.

The mans name was Bashkei Wolfe.

And his children were Katie and Daniel Wolfe.

Chapter 1



Katie sighed, wkaing up as she got out of bed, putting on her clothes to leave. She went into the next room "Danny boy! get your lazy tail out of bed!" she exclaimed, seieng her borther still in his bed, she hated when he did that.

But, seeing on reaction form yelling she went in. Oce at his bed she took the mattress and flipped it over on thedoors side, making Daniel crash to the floor.

"OOOOOW!" he screamed "Katie!"

"Yes?"

Why'd you do that!?"

"To get your but out of bed and into clothes stupid, now MARCH TO IT!"

With that, a very agravated Daniel took his lcothes and shoved Katie ofmr his room as he started to get dressed. Katie smirked, and wiht that left for another part of the house. She sighed, knocking on a door.

"Who is it?" a voice asked

"Who do you tihnk, Papa? I'm coming in." she laughed, wlaking into the room where her Father sat on his bed. She wlaked over and gave him a kiss on the cheek. Bashkei smiled and sat her down beside him "I heard your little argument wiht Dan, is he okay?" Katie nodded "Yea, just sour at me for making him go to work on time." both laughed "I'll tlka to ihm tonight." Bashkei sighed "Yes, Papa, for now rest though, Daniel and I can't have you getting worse now can we?"

Both chuckled and she gently pushed her Father down onto his bed, covering his up. With one last kiss she left the door a bit open to get some air in the room.

She sighed, after about half an hour Daniel came out "We're both late for qwork you bum." she frowned as he just wlaked away. Herself of ocurse following...

By the time Katie was getting dressed into her work clothes a tall stranger entered the saloon she worked at, dressed in all black except for a band colored silver. His fur was red and white and huis eyes were hidden by his black hat.

"Who might oyu be, stranger? Never seen the likes o' ya here before...got a name?" The bertender asked, cleaning a glass.

The man smirked "Kodiak...Kodiak Miller." he said but befotre he could ask for a drink the curtains of the stagew opened. And there stood Katie, a coy smile on her face, ready.

Well, she thought, another day of pinches and whistles. She smiled again, eyelashes fluttering to the men "Hey boys...Back for more?" she siad as they all started to howl and whuistle "I'll take that as a yes..." she siad, then, sang, dancing with the tmepo of the song.

"Whooo! She's actually sorta letting herself show." a man said, whistling and howling like the pig he was.

Kodi looked up, seeing the silver gray wolf he tohught his heart owuld explode. Katie's movements, were smoth as her curves. He realized he was staring and shook his head. The men around him laughed.

"Ha! She's osmetihng huh? The first girl to come to this place with her family...I reckon she's about 20...maybe less."

"Well I hear she and her borther ogt osmeproblems wiht their old man...The bum he is! He sits in bed all day like he's sick...I can see throguh that."

Katie looked ot them, stopping as she made the signal to close the curtain. She sighed, breatihng heavily, she had heard ihm and Katiek new better but...she wanted to get him bakc for saying such horried things about her father. Katie growled wlaking out to the bar she tapped the man on the shoulder. hE turned around and got a sucker punch form the igrl "*******!" she yelled, shaking her hand "My Father is sick truly, he's old and we od have problems but if I EVER see you or hear you talking bout my Papa like that I'll kill you! Understand?!" Katie stepped on his chest hard, smashing her foot in "I said understand?!" the man went wide eyed "Yes! Let me go!" he begged and then, as she let up her foot he stumbled out of the bar.

"Katie!"

Katie turned, to see her bother "Danny!"

I like it. But I am not sure my cousin Kodi_Fan will like it. She thinks Kodi likes Akeli.

Psh, as far as we're concerned "Akeli" doesn't exist. KEEP IT UP WITH KATIE, MAN! XD

Chapter 2


Katie sighed, in the confounds of her dressing room , hearing Daniel yell at her, she yelled back as she stood, just screaming. Daniel pushed her back into the seat "Katie!" he shouted, by now is white face was red form anger "you could lose this job if you lsip up again!" Katie growled at him standing face to face "I'm the only responsible one in this God f****** ***** family Danny! You don't know the whole story! The ******* was saying tihngs about our Father for Christs' sake!!!! What would you have done huh?!" she breathed deeply, trembling in anger. He looked down at her with icy green eyes, glaring as she sat back down "Just, take a moment or two to geto ver it. Shankoon's waiting for you." he smirked and left the room. Daniel left Katie on her chair, turned to the mirror. She couldn't beliweve that she'd said that to her brother, I should save that hostility for Shankoon, she giggled, head sdown on the vanity as she felt her eyes closing.

Kodi on the other hand was standing by the door to her room, looking at her name on the door, Katie...Katie...Katie, he thought over and over. He oculdn't get her beautiful smile, her body, out of his mind and it drove him nuts. He couldn't take it any longer and knocked on the door. Katie sat up, givign a soft growl as she tok a rifle form the corner "Who is it?" she asked as Kodiak answered "I'm no one you know, just pleae, MIss, let me in. I want to make sure you're alright. I saw the guy leave here all red-faced, did he hit you?"

Katie shook her head and let ihm in, putting the rifle down "No...Daniel just yelled at me."

Kodi nodded "Ah," he said coming in "Is he your boyfriend, fiancee, husband?" he asked. Katie shook her head "We're brother and sister." she giggled, givign off a smile. Kodi couldn't hlep but be intranced by it, she was so beautiful and her laughing was like a chorus of angels to his ears. Katie tilted her head, silvery-black hair cascading down her shoulder "You okay?" she asked as he blushed, covering his face with his shirt collar and hat "Yeah, I'm f-fine." he stuttered looking away.

Katie giggled, taking his hand and a quill form her vanity, dipping it in ink she wrote down the directions ot her ohme and the shop, Kodi somewhat bewildered "Well, gee, thanks fo-" he was cut off by a large wolf walking thorugh the door, dark eyes shining towards Katie as she backed away to the wall, groaning in despair "Not him..." she muttered, as he made his way to her, on hand leaning itself on the wall near her head.

"Katie dearest, your brother said something about you gettin mad? He hit you?" The owlf asked, sounding sweet and caring for her.

"No, Shankoon, Danny ever hits me he'll be buried six feet deep." Katie sighed, roling her eyes as she motioned Kodi to wait outside, which he did. Shankoon looked at his tail as Kodi left the room, turning back to Katie "Kate, wha was that?" she rolled her eyes 'someone who actually cares." she said matter-of-factly, he grinned "What? We've been going out for months and you still don't tihnk I care? My dear, sweet, naive Katie, I care aobut you more than anything. You just met uh-"

"Kodi" Katie said annoyedly, her hand was twitching. Shankoon nodded "Ah, yes, thanks. But still you just met him. And you give him directions ot your home and everything? Come on sweetie I knwo you did..I see the quill in your hand.." he drifted off, taking her petite hand in his own two, tkaing osmething out of his pocket he slipped it on her ifnger.

Katie gasped, looking at hte large diamond "Shankoon..." seh said lowly, red-faced in embarassment. He nodded "Yes...I want you to be mine, forever, I want you tied to me for my whole life. Marry me." She lbinked, looking up and pushing him out of her way "Shankoon...I-I, I don't know what to say."

"Say yes, Katie. Say you'll be my wife." He grinned, waiting to hear her answer.

Moments passed and Katie looked odwn to the ring before sighing "shankoon, no...No." she siad softly, taking the ring off of her hand, giving it back "We don't even date...you just ocme here every day and set me on your lap. Though today was different but still....I can't." Shankoon frowned as Katie walked quickly away, grabibng her wrists hard "now hey hey honey....No one ever says 'no' to me." She jerked her hand, triyng to get away "I believe I did just now." she said harshly.


Shankoon growled in his throat, still grabbing Katie by the wrist, he grabbed her aorund the hips, slinging her over his sohulder. The tall amn wakled out the bakc with her screaming out and growling, thrashing her legs harshly. She screamed ''Shankoon! Lemme go! NOW!!!!!'' she pounded at his back with her fists, trying to kick him in the chest with her feet she growled, trying to get away.

Kodi gasped as he saw Shankoon with Katie slung over his shoulder. He growled and ran after him, by that point, his hat flew off, revealing his red hair and white and red fur, he didn't care. Kodi ran ahead, stopping at the door to the back, pointing a revolver at the wolf "Put her down!" he yelled. Shankoon grinned, putting her down he took out his own pistol, grabbing Katie he pressed it into her head, the tip of the gun was hidden by her black hair. Katie gasped, looking wide-eyed towards the gun, she winced. She looked as if she was ready ot have her head blown off.

Shankoon grinned "What's a mangy mutt like you gonna od if I don't hm? Take opne more step buddy and I blow her head off." he said calmly, as if not caring at all. Of course, it was a lbuff but the gun was fully loaded. Kodi growled, realizing his hat was gone "I don't tihnk you should talk to a son of a hero like that."

"H-hero???" Katie maganed to say, she gasped "If you're part owlf then...Balto." she whispered beofre cringing as Shakoon pressed the rifle harder to her head.
