I thought that since Cat has done this type of topic to single out what fic to work on next (and it's been quite successful, I might add), I should make one of these too! Like Cat's, all of these will be written eventually, but perhaps the Balto fandom public should decide what I should focus on next!

(Note: "Forgive Me" is not on here, since it is already in progress (and almost complete), so don't ask about it. As is "The Husky's Meow", "Mother's Intuition" and "Proud of Your Boy", since they too are in current progress. Thanks.)

Note #2: Please do not take any of these ideas and make them your own! It took me a while to think up these ideas and I don't want to be (or anyone else to be) called a "copy-cat"!

Note #3: You only have until the end of November to vote, so think carefully! Also if you vote/reply/etc., I'd like to know why you voted a certain way. Tell me what about the fic idea intrigued your vote! Thanks!

Here we go: Fics Ahoy!

Number 1: A continuation to "Change of Heart" - After Nava's passing and learning that he must abandon his homeland, Niju has begun his journey across the sea a changed wolf on a mission: to find and reunite the Kawa clan, and confess his love to their quarter-wolf leader, Aleu. But no one ever suspected the arrival of a new pack on the land: The Yama clan!

Number Two: The beginning of "The Legacy Saga" - After Saba and Dingo welcomed four children into the world and learned about their wolf heritage, it is time for the four to discover who they really are. The first is about Noel, the last-born and the runty miracle pup that starts to have strange dreams . . . dreams of things to come.

Number Three: A short Pre-WQ one-shot fic that can only be explained in this brief way - Jenna is freezing cold outside and it's up to Balto to keep her warm. XD (I'll leave this idea for you to visualize)

Number Four: Yukon is the fastest dog in Nome, and still single, due to the fact that she will only fall in love with dogs that can beat her in a race. But when she gets sent away to the big city of Anchorage and encounters a strange new face, has Yukon met her match . . . and a possible mate?

Number Five: Kodiak feels like the world's most unluckiest dog - he's clumsy with his big paws, he's not as fast as the other dogs, and there's no chance that any female would choose him as a mate. But a sudden freak accident causes him to be saved by an "angel" . . . Has this pup's luck changed for the better or is it the beginning of a disaster waiting to happen? Oh, did I mention that this "angel" isn't all that she seems?

Number Six: Denali is a successfully fast sled dog, but he's looking for something more to life. When he is separated from his team in a sudden blizzard, a white creature saves his life . . . and melts his heart. The two of them realize that they may be connected more than they think . . .

Number Seven: A "companion/A.U" fic to Number Four - Yukon has always been curious ever since she was a newborn pup. But when all seems lost for her to ever find a mate, her wild instincts lead her into some sticky situations that could possibly destroy everything that she's worked so hard to earn.

Number Eight: A two-story continuation of "Lupine Call" - A while has passed since Aleu gave birth and officially became the alpha of the Kawa clan. Things just couldn't be happier . . . until Aniu sends her a dream message of upcoming doom for the clan, and only Aleu can stop it . . . but not in the form of a wolf-dog, but in the form of the enemy themselves. Can all things run smoothly, or will it be curtain call for the Kawa clan forever?

Number Nine: Twelve years have passed since Balto and Jenna welcomed their first litter into the world. Miraculously, Jenna has birthed two final pups, risking their lives and her own by giving birth in her old age. Can Balto make things right with his last legacy, and can their pups, Mica and Mira, figure out their purpose in life while allowing their parent's spirits to live on through them?

Number 8 sounds really gr8t(sorry bad pun,I know)

Man! I love them all! But I must say Yukon's first story interested me the most ;D i like the idea that she won't fall in love with anyone slower than herself XD Makes her sound like a very stuck-up character. I LIKE!

Oh, really? (Now you know how I feel when I read your story ideas, Cat! ^__^)

Well, Yukon doesn't show herself as a stuck-up character (only when she gets really competitive, of course. Then she gets stuck-up. It's like she wants to be sure that her father's speedy genes get inherited when mixed with another who is also fast and powerful), but she is a bit of a love-struck type of girl (uh, dog . . . I mean, bitch.) who loves to flirt. If they like her back, she'll race them and only love them completely if they defeat her. (Originally, in that tale, she was to be defeated by Steele, and keep her promise of giving herself to whoever defeated her . . . but I changed it. Was I wrong to do so? *sigh* It would suit her personality somewhat . . . wouldn't it?)

Sarafina Fanatic: Thanks for voting! I like that one too, since it would be interesting to be Aleu in a different sort of situation (and to be facing it in a different form too).

I'm with Cat on this one, I like them all! Esspecially 3 thru 7 and 9.
But...seeing as I must choose only one for the poll...
I pick Number...12.
And while you're figuring out which that is, my vote goes for Number 3. (No, I'm not gutter-minded. I like fics between the first two movies. Get off my back.) Long live Balto and Jenna!!

By the by, if it comes to a tie by some freak happening, I re-vote for Number 7,because I'd like to know more about Yukon. (We don't learn much about her or the three other pups besides Kodi and Aleu, and I wish to know more about her since you've already focused on Dingo and Saba. )

Gee, thanks! You know which one this is. *wink-wink* Actually, I wasn't going to put that one on the vote since I've actually written much of it already (oops. I couldn't help myself . . .). But it's cute. Not "Husky's Meow" cute . . . but "I really love you" cute.



Yeah, Yukon is an interesting character to write about (I used her in my first fic "Untamed Love", but I never finished it or posted it (I might eventually, but it's terrible and so cliche'.) . . .) Her story can get a bit controversial, so I doubt I'll ever post it here . . . (#7 is the more iffy one, while #4 is pretty tame) But thanks for showing your interest, LWf!

Anywho, about "that" story . . . I don't think I'll post it on the forum or send it to the site due to the subject matter that is used in it (again, I'll leave it for you to visualize), so I'll PM you the URL to it, for safety reasons. (Which also means it won't be on my fic topic either, again for safety reasons . . . we wouldn't want a younger reader to become disturbed by a story, right?)

SimbasGuard: Well, like on Cat's "What fic should I write Next?" topic, all of these will be written (actually #3 is already written, since it's so short, but I'm adding some background descriptions to it - most likely, it won't get posted on the site or the forums (due to fanfic rule changes), but I will put a notice on my Fic Update topic for anyone that is interested in reading it when it's completed!) . . . . eventually!

Also, I have been working on developing the stories before I start writing them (actually I've started on 2, 3, 7, 8, and 9; just a summary and a bit of the beginning of them mainly) so that I can remember my ideas while I work on finishing my older, current stories.

Now it's a three way tie between 4 5 and 9! I absolutely love the idea for fic number 9.. I voted for 9 because that was one of the coolest ideas I've read of in a LOOOOOONG time.. and I hate to say it, if noone else sumbits.. you've got a little Trifecta here! CIAO!
