Here's one: a pop-up, advertising for a pop-up blocker.

The most pointless ad I've ever seen was the very first Axe commercial they released on television. You didn't even know what they were selling, until the very end, but it wasn't Superbowl quality. It was terrible. This guy sprays axe on himself, then gets biten by a mosquito, which gets eaten by a frog, which in turn gets turned into frog legs, which are eaten by a man in his late 80's, which gets ****** by a *********, then you see his tombstone in the next scene and you see two worms form themselves into the shape of a heart. Then at the very end it says AXE COLOGNE. And it was the dumbest thing on TV I have ever seen. I mean, I could actually feel my IQ decreasing as I continued to stare blankly at the screen.

Oh.
My.
God.
That was truly hilarious.
The most pointless ad I've ever seen is where they advertised the SUPERMAN INFLATABLE COSTUME for young boys. Like, this boy comes in, rips off his shirt (underneath is the Superman costume), and inflates it. The boy is supposed to look all muscle-y and all, but honestly, he looked as funny as sliced bread. He then went on a terrorizing spree and bashed down plastic gray blocks. K. Whatev.

If I had to pick one, I think it would be Those stupid Enuisef(sp?) comercial with Bob.. you know? THE GUY WHO HAS TO SMILE 24/7! He looks so unreal. XDD I can't STAND those comericals. Or the music in the backround. x_x
My fav comercial, witch is absolutly annoying, is the newest skittles comercial. XDD With the singing rabit. It makes me laugh everytime. But its soooo stupid. Expecially when the rabit bites him on the arm and runs away singing. XDD Yey.
If you don't know what comercial I am talking about, then here it is!-- Skittles Bunny
Enjoy! XDD

On the internet.. I can't stand those 'splat the mosquito and win a prize' ads. They buzz at you! And seriously.. how do you expect to win a prize just by clicking something?!
On the TV, the most pointless ads are the ones that last for ages and are just advertising a vacume cleaner or something.

When the stupid thing popped up, you could hear that chinese lady going "Prepare to recieve sublimol messages" about 2 miles away...
XDDD
I once saw this commercial for some kind of insurance. 2 problems with it: 1. It NEVER once mentioned what kind of insurance it was selling. 2. A microwave was used to explain the details XD
