Ooh I lurv dragons! Love.gif I think I've seen that one already. Have either of you seen Animal Planet's special about dragons? The: Dragons, a Fantasy Made Real? It's pretty awesome.

Well, I only saw the first 15 minutes of it, but here's what I got...

The Sumerians' creation myth says that a dragon god created everything.

When the Jewish prophet Daniel is said to have killed a dragon, showing how he was against the worshiping of idols, it started up the analogy which follows: Killing a dragon = hero status. Also, the Romans had stories of their armies being trampled and killed by dragons, and during the middle ages, the Church told people that dragons were real, and they also told people where to find them. (Although I missed the part of where that was...)

One of my friends LOVES dragons, but when she saw 'Dragons: A Fantasy Made Real', she said it was horrible. I saw the commercials for it, and I couldn't say I was particularly impressed, either. *shrug* But, that's just my opinion. Dragons are cool, but I'm more of a 'wolf geek' than anything else. :D

Lol, I have three Dragonology books. ^^ And I've never seen the History Channel
