Who's read this book? I'm reading it for school, and it's kind of sickening, but my English teacher says it's like the book The Giver on ecstasy... don't give away anything, but would you think that's true?

I'm currently reading "The Giver" too... it's ok. but no one of my favorites.

I READ IT TWICE. lol

Ehh, it was okay. I like The Anthem better because it has more a personal perspective on the concept of the book. I personally think that books about these kinds of things (distopias) are quite interesting and I hope to read more in the near future.

I'm reading it now. I freakin love this book, I find the stuff in it humorous.

Anthem, by Ayn Rand? I loved that book!
I read "Brave New World" in my senior year of high school. It was pretty good. I too liked Anthem a bit more.
Oh, but isn't it Aldous Huxley?

It's a really good novel, but I think you should check out some other books you might like? That way your vocabulary will expand a lot.
