Rukii heard Sapphire yelling for help, and ran into the den and saw Sapphire applying pressure to Cheyanne's bleeding wound. She went back outside the den to get Zasshu.

Markus and Shinso returned soon and walked up to Zasshu, who was sitting just outside the den, waiting for them.

"Well?" Zasshu asked. "Did you find her?"

"No." Shinso answered. "We lost her."

"Sorry, Zassh." Markus apologized.

Rukii then approached Zasshu from behind.

"Zasshu," she said. "She's bleeding again."

"What?" Zasshu followed Rukii back into the den, Markus and Shinso close behind, and saw Sapphire over by Cheyanne, her paws over the wound.

"Move aside!" Zasshu growled, pushing Sapphire out of the way.

Shinso and Rukii both sat by Cheyanne and Zasshu for support, while Markus took a seat beside Sapphire.

"Sorry about Zasshu pushing you like that." Markus told her. "He's just worried about Cheyanne." Markus smiled at her reassuringly, then began licking Sapphire's paws, cleaning Cheyanne's blood off of them.

Zasshu once again began licking Cheyanne's wounds, refusing to stop until the bleeding stopped for good.

"It's all right." Sapphire said to Markus as she leaned down to lick one of his ears(i think Sapphire and Markus should have a relationship). "Thanks for cleaning my paws."

"You're welcome." Markus smiled. (Sure, they can be in a relationship.) "My name is Markus. I'm sorry, but I don't recall your name. What is it?"

"I'm Sapphire, but you can call Sappy for short." Sapphire said sitting down.

Cheyanne managed to rise and stay upward. She wretched and vomited. It was all blood. She whimpered and vomited again. Cheyanne stumbled and fell back over, she then quickly sat up.

Sapphire stopped licking Markus and looked at Cheyanne. "Oh no, she is going to get sick."

How could this be? she thought. How? Did that wolf have a parasite when she bit me? Cheyanne began coughing, then crying, she fell back onto the cold den floor. Laying in her own puddle of blood, the entire right side of her face would be drenched in red.

Sapphire ran to Cheyanne "Cheyanne don't go to sleep." Sappy said knowing that if she went to sleep she may never wake up. "tay awake Cheyanne, stay awake."

Zasshu helped Cheyanne to stand and walked her across the den to lay down in a cleaner area. Zasshu had her lay on her left side, and curled beside her and began licking the blood off the right side of her face as best he could.

"There is a possibility that "Choker", or whatever her name was, recently ate tainted food." Shinso said. "She must have had the residue still in her mouth when she bit Cheyanne."

"So what do you propose we do?" Zasshu asked.

"There's not a lot we can do." Shinso answered. "The best we can do is keep her hydrated and let the nausea run its course."

Zasshu looked at Cheyanne.

"Do you think you could hold some water down, Chey?" he asked.

Sapphie watched Cheyanne and Zasshu. "Markus, do you know what we could do to get the toxins out?" Sapphire said turning and jogging to Markus.

"No." she retorted. Cheyanne began to sit up, as she did she cough up a little blood and plopped back down. She lay her head on her forearms and shivered disgustedly. She felt like throwing up everything she'd eaten the past two years, and she didn't appreciate it.





Choker sneered as she watched Blood and Rip both tugged on the bone of the deer they had caught earlier. The venison meat was very tender. "Let's move." Choker commented. The two males looked at her, dropping the bone. "Can we take the bone?" Rip asked, instead of asking where or why they were going. She nodded. "Each of you take one."

"That ***** she-wolf!" Zasshu growled to himself, referring to Coker. "I oughta find her and rip her throat outfor this."

Markus nodded to Sapphire.

"There are some edible medicinal plants nearby that are good for parasite infections." he said.

Cheyanne continued coughing everytime she did, a little bit of blood splattered the den floor.



Blood led the the way of the trio of wolves. Choker behind him and Rip slowly parading along.

"Then lets go get some." Sapphire said to Markus. Sappy jogged a little ways to the woods then turned to see if Markus was following.
