Mto yipped slightly, but loud enough to hear. Hearing that Zira said she was coming back. She jumped onto something to hide in.

Kejeli snarled back at Merah, "Don't count on it Merah," she said watching Merah's every move.

Viza purred louder, she nuzzled her head into Enamayama's chest.

"I mean she's gone...she's not with me in my den she's not in your den," Furhai said just below a whisper.

Dogo blinked, looking around. "What just happened?"

"Nothing, nothing at all!" Adimu added, glad the cubs had somehow missed that...

"Cubs!" called Zira, walking in. "I'm sorry, my pridemates needed me," she stated. "Did anything happen while I was gone?"

Zira nuzzled the cubs, and to her own surprise, it seemed genuine. "Follow me, I've got something to show you," she said, leading the way into the Termite Mound.

"What is it, Grandma?" asked Dogo.

Zira gave a small smile. "Just something beautiful, I assure you," she said, leading them up to the top of the mound.

"Too late for that, we're here," said Zira, leading them to the top of the mound, the savanah heading out in all directions visible. "Now be careful, we're very high up."

"Wow!" exclaimed Dogo, looking about curiously. "We're almost as high up as the top of Pride Rock!"

Mto heard faint voices from above her and looked up, She didn't DARE move because she would of been spotter. So she sat there and waited patiently, hoping no one else can see her sitting at the entrance of the mound.

Zira nodded. "Yes, it's a wonderful view. Even the Outlands has a certain beauty to it, I suppose."

"Like you, Grandma," said Dogo.

Zira blinked. "Like me? What do you mean?"

"Well you look kind of scary, but when we get to know you, you're a really nice."

Zira blinked. She hadn't been called "nice" in ages, why did it feel good? And why did she feel... guilty? She'd planned this for years so why did this little cub saying that make her suddenly feel a pang of guilt? "Y-you really think that?"

Zira wondered, why did that make her feel guilty? She'd been planning her revenge for YEARS, she'd never once felt an ounce of guilt for all this... why now? "... It's been years since anyone has said anything like that to me..."

Dogo rubbed against his grandmother. "That's sad, they really should."

OOC: Would anyone mind being Rafiki for a moment? If so, I'll PM you what I need for it. I'd do it, but I don't think I'd get his character right.
