The problem with these animes is that because Japanese and English have different stress systems, it becomes very easily for the dub voice actors to pronounce the names wrong, hence they wind up saying KaGOme instead of KAHgome, KaKAWshi instead of KAHkashi, ICHEEgo instead of EEchigo, etc.
They're wrong regardless. It just sucks that some of the dubs have made the "wrong" pronunciations official.
Ah, a comment I made on a YouTube video (to see said video, look up "puppetbenders nitpick".) YouTube has a tendency to glitch when I try to post comments, especially from my iPod, so I generally copy the text before clicking the send button, just in case.

^ (ALL THAT. RIGHT?! My sister and I (her especially) are also so nit picky about pronunciation in anime. That's why we prefer subs in stead of dubs usually.)
