Russet sat by Delilah's side for a while. After the moment of silence he sighed. "I'm going to go look around, and... catch up with old friends. I'll be back soon, don't worry, Delilah." he assured her, and licked her nose. He looked at Julius and gave a curt nod before padding off after Shiya.

Russet returned a while after and took his place at Delilah's side. He licked her cheek and whispered, "See? I came back in one one piece, without a single scratch on me. This is the safest place to be. And I'm sure you'll love it here too."

Russet was stumped, and it showed in his face. "What do you mean by feeling horrible?"

OOC: I probably will, to spare the younger kiddies the details of where babies come from. Lol.

Russet's jaw dropped. He got up instantly and ran after Julius. "Julius!" he yelled after the husky. "Julius!"

"Delilah..." Russet panted. "Is... having... the pups."

Russet looked at Delilah, his eyes a bit blurry. He knew she needed some time alone and nudged Julius to follow him out.

Russet paced back and forth outside the den, waiting for his time to go back in and see them.

OOC: I bet they'd be adorable in the real world.

Russet sighed. He sat down and quietly assured him that everything went fine. But in his mind, he knew he couldn't help but think of all the horrible things that could've gone wrong.

OOC: Gotta go.

Russet's ears snapped forward. With his tail between his legs he headed to the mouth of the cave. "Delilah?"

Russet's ears flattened and he walked in slowly. He looked at Delilah, confused.
