This dream was familar, running through the woods as always. But, suddenly, Kodi emerged from the trees and was in a town. He thought he had been there before, but in his state of sleep, he could not think of it. As he ran through town and eventually to its outskirts, he saw to figures together. A small, femine shadow and a larger, male one. Again, the thought of seeing thme before came to mind, but again he couldn't quite remember.
In his dream. Scout was wondering a once very familiar path that lead from his musher's house to the cave on the edge of the wolves' territory where he and Aniu had met so many times before. As he climbed the hill to the familar spot, he saw the outlined shadow of Aniu in the setting sun. "Aniu?" he asked when he got closer, though he already knew it was her,

OOC: Mind if for the sequal we have the main villian being the one that killed Aniu in the first place?

Aniu nodded. "I'm sorry I never got to say goodbye." she said. "And I'm sorry...I'm sorry I couldn't save our other two pups..." she said, a tear going down her face. "I tried, I honestly tried to...but I...failed them..."

"I had just gotten the pups a deer to eat." said Aniu. "I heard footsteps and got the pups behind me, there wasn't time to get them all to safety. The man...he shot me in the chest, I fell on Balto and his sister but the other two...I didn't manage to cover them...he shot them both, they didn't die instintly...I had to watch our pups suffer...then he left...he killed us for no reason...no reason at all...I managed to keep him from seeing the other two and Nava came to check out what was going on. I sent the other two with him, told him to take them where they belong...with my final breath, I told him if he saw you again, to tell you I loved you..." she said, tears running down her cheeks.

"Because he was the one that took Balto to Nome, he took both there actually, but you weren't there so he left Balto there with a friend of his, a goose named Boris." she said. "He's been like Balto's foster father." she said. "Every pup needs a parent to take care of them...I can't tell you where our daughter is...I'm not allowed to, its the rules." she said, pained she couldn't tell her mate where their daughter was. "I can lead you to her but I can't tell you where she is, Nava knows, I know that."
