Yeah, I feel better. And yes, I saw her. And I lost the game.

Zasshu took a moment to put some thought to that, slowly sitting up again as the chest pains passed.

"Later this afternoon. When it's not as hot outside." Zasshu decided.

Zasshu then froze, ears perking up as he sniffed the air. He let out a low growl, narrowing his eyes.

"Someone's here." Zasshu growled.

He walked just outside the den and surveyed the area with both his eyes and nose. He didn't see her, but caught Choker's scent, and found by how strong her scent was that she was way too close by for comfort. Zasshu crouched on his front paws, snarling loudly and baring his numerous sharp fangs, ready to attack the intruder should she show herself.

Choker fixated on the male wolf. He's on to me, she thought, But I'm not giving up so easily. Choker lowered her ears, trying her best to blend in with the mid-tall grass. "What do you mean? Where?" Cheyanne asked, trotting up next to him. She had told her pups to go to the back of the den and play just before she asked. "Kids, settle down back there." she said, "and be quiet." she added.


Choker could barley make out what they were saying. Not that she cared, she only wanted a morsel of their food. Enough to last her a day or two, till her next meal. Maybe a little more to last her longer. After all, she had no idea where she was going nor the game status of where she would end up. Choker waited for one of them to move, or leave. She was unaware that they had pups. She had figured the black pelted wolf was the white and gray pelted wolf's sister, or that he was her father. Still, she lie and wait. Watching their every move, positive she wouldn't get caught.

Her smokey gray pelt poked out of the green grass, but was hardly noticeable.
Cheyanne shoved her nose to the ground, than to the air. "I've never smelt this scent before. I wonder who it is." she stopped and stared at Zasshu. Choker rolled her golden eyes. What a bunch of wussies, she thought, they just stand there.

"I have no clue who it is, but they have a lot of nerve getting this close to an obviously occupied den uninvited." Zasshu said cautiously. "Friend or foe, I can't say yet, but I'm not taking any chances when we have pups." Zasshu turned to Cheyanne, and said in a low voice, "Guard the den entrance and protect the pups. I'll see if I can locate them."

Zasshu leaped out into the grassy area just outside the den, following Choker's scent. It didn't take long until he found her, and once he did he pounced on her with a roar and pinned her on her back underneath him.

"Who are you?! What are you doing here?!" Zasshu demanded, snarling and baring his teeth to Choker.

Choker pulled her ears forward, and bared her own fangs. She placed her back paws on Zasshu's abdomen, pushing on him. No answer. After a while she decided it wasn't getting her anywhere. "Choker." she plainly said.

"Choker, is it?" Zasshu snorted. "What are you doing in my territory unannounced? You have some explaining to do." Zasshu demanded.

When are you going to reply to In the Shadows? Im not mad, its just that I cant wait to start it LOL

"I'm simply looking for food, and I don't need a wimp like you telling me what to do. I grew out of believing you could trust a wolf in a pack. And I guess I was right. I used to believe wolf pack could be trusted, and that all wolves were nice to one another. But I was wrong I suppose. I was an omega wolf, forced to be beaten by my own father. I left and began to travel on my own. GET OFF OF ME." Choker hadn't realized she spilled her story out, she was still focused on getting food.

It's alright, I know how you feel. I just replied to In the Shadows right before this.

"How DARE you!" Zasshu snarled. "I am NOT a wimp!" Zasshu growled, pressing Choker harder into the ground for her disrespectfulness, refusing to get off of her. "I will not BUDGE until you tell me why you're here!"

I started on In The Shadows.



Choker snarled and bared her fangs, kicking her back legs and scratching Zasshu's abdomen. She finally bit Zasshu's underarm and bolted out from under him.

Cheyanne wasn't paying attention, she was trying to get the pups to be quiet. She barely whipped her head around to see Choker up in the air and fangs bared. Choker had pounced and landed on Cheyanne. Normally Cheyanne would have attacked first, but instead she fell to the ground, not knowing what hit her. Choker had clawed and bit Cheyenne's throat, making it bleed. Choker and also mangled with her leg. After she had swiftly attacked Cheyanne, she went to the moose carcass and ripped off a leg. Choker made a break for it and took the leg, off to the west.

"Markus, Shinso! Follow her!" Zasshu called out to his brothers, then ran to Cheyanne's side.

"My dear Cheyanne, are you alright?" Zasshu asked, rather concerned. Zasshu began licking her neck wounds and leg wounds until they stopped bleeding, then helped her to stand up again.

Cheyanne lifted herself, but her leg buckled underneath her. She fell and rolled on her side. She gave up. Cheyanne huffed and rested her head on the cold den floor.

Choker high-tailed it out of there. She got her food and she was gone. She didnt look back at all, not once.

Sapphire got out of the cave a saw Ceyanne down and she smelled a new wolf. Sappy ran to follow the new wolf.

Choker ran a couple miles before stopping, her heart was pounding. If could pound out of her chest it would. She was safe for a while, so she gobbled down some of the leg meat she had managed to take from the small group of wolves. Choker had left back the leg bone at Cheyanne's den, she didn't know until she stopped. All she had now was a big pile of meat. Not that it mattered, she still had something to eat that would last her a while.

Choker plopped herself down under the pines. "Choker, did you get anything?" a male voice asked, it was familiar. "Blood?" Choker pondered. "And Rip." the male wolf poked his head out of the pines. Along with him came a smaller, but still large, wolf. The wolf labeled as Blood was a large, black wolf. The one called Rip was a little smaller, his pelt was dingy white. "What are you guys doing here?" Choker asked them. "We came to find you." said Rip. Why? To bring me back to my death sentence of a pack?" Choker snorted. Blood shook his head. "We left the pack. A month ago." Blood replied, taking a sit down and scratching his half torn ear. Choker's face soften, "Oh. Why?" "To find you." said Rip. "We missed you." "Why would you guys miss me?" Choker scoffed, trying not to believe them. "You scared off the bullies of the pack. Remember when those two wolves always torment Blood and I?" Rip smiled, and Blood agreed. "Yeah. I do." Choker grinned. "I honestly didn't think we'd find you." said Blood. "But Rip told me to keep going. So we did, here we are." he smiled.

Choker smiled and looked over to her meat. She stood, picking up the chunk and walking towards the two wolves. She dropped it at their feet. "Enjoy. I've had my fill. Tomorrow we can go hunting." Choker smiled. The two nodded and dove into the meal.
