"You doin' okay, sis?" Chesnut asked a little worriedly. "We can slow down if ya want..."
Loki stopped saying the march, "I think it's not halpin' ya walk," he chuckled. "Ya are satying at the same speed..."

"Okay..." Chesnut sighed, "Hey, we'll be there before ya know it..."
"Yup," Loki agreed.


Flint yawned at the junkyard. Then he quickly dodged an attack from Fenris. "Ha!" he laughed at his friend.
"Ha yourself," Fenris grumbled. He lifted himself off of the ground, where he ended up after falling down.

Fen looked over the junkyard, noticing Hiro laying in the shade. "Hey, lump on a log!" he called. "Stop dozing and get up!"

Hiro stood grumpily. "Fine."

"Yea," Flint said, flicking his tail at Fenris "Maybe we outta be training when they come back..."
"So they'll be proud of us or somethin'?" Al asked humourously, "Cuz that's be funny..."


"We're almost there..." Loki mumbled.
Chesnut's heart leapt for joy inside... she was so tired.

"Okay, someone pretend to hit me when we see 'em. I'll pretend to dodge," Hiro said.

"Which will be more effort than you've made all day," Fen teased.

"Whatever," Hiro mumbled.


Holly wanted to whine in relief, but refrained from doing so.

"I bet they aren't even training," Sadie complained to Loki as they neared the junkyard. "Hiro's probably napping, Fenris and Flint may be doing something, and Fen is probably just watching."

Chesnut sighed. "So can we sleep when we get there, please?"
Loki nodded, "Yea."

Fenris nodded, "I think I see them..."
"Quick! Pretend to be doing something!" Al laughed.
Flint looked at him for a moment, and did a sneak attack on Fenris. "Gotya!"
"Heh. That wasn't very fair..."

Fen tackled Hiro, bowling the skinny wolf over easily. "Now attack back," he instructed.

"I know what to do!" Hiro snapped, squirming out of Fen's hold. He lunged forward in retaliation, his blow hitting home and sending Fen stumbling.


Sadie padded into the junkyard first, Holly close behind. Her brown eyes took in the fact that they were actually training...and Al was laughing. "Were you guys even training?" she asked suspiciously. "And where's Abby?"

"I'm right here," Abby called. She was laying in one of the cars, so she got up and stretched, "I was suprovising them," she said.
"Sure," Al sarcastically stated.
Flint panted, "Well, yea... some of us were practicing..."
Fenris nodded his head in agreement.

Chesnut looked a tiny bit scared, "Who are they?" she asked Loki.
"These are the other dogs and wolves that live here..."

"Who are the pups?" Hiro asked briskly, his nostrils flaring as their scent was carried to him by the soft breeze.

Holly couldn't tell how many there were; maybe around five? Not including Loki and Sadie. She pressed againt her sister's body, trembling slightly. She hated crowds.

"This is Holly and Chestnut," Sadie said. Looking at the two pups, she introduced her friends. "And this is Fenris, Flint, Abby, Hiro, and Fen." She gestured to each on in turn.

Chesnut tried to calm her siter down, "Don't worry. They won't hurt us, remember?"
Loki nodded, "Yea, we have brought pups here, they looked like they needed someone to care for them, so, like how we are now, caring for everyone, we will also care for Chesnut and Holly."

Abby wagged her tail slowly, "Hi," she said softly.

Loki blinked at the pup in shock... she had made it here fine! But then he remembered that Chesnut had also been very close to her too.
Chesnut blinked, "And don't judge her because of it!" she threatened, "Or I'll bite ya!" she then also stared at the ground, almost sadly.
"Why would we judge her?" Abby said, softly, "We can't really judge either... most of us here are mutts, or half-breeds. Some even wolves, and we're kinda outcasts for it..."
Flint walked up to Holly, "Cheer up kiddo," he whispered, "None of us will bother you because of it..."
