[Balto, Complete] So wrong, but it feels so right [Part 1]

Slyth looked down at their paws. His over hers and her other one over his. As a precaution, he layed his other paw ontop of hers. To be sure she didn't raise it to her throat. "Saba, i don't want you dead. Don't think my confusion for my feelings right now means i don't love you" As soon as she was asleep that night, Slyth planned on sneaking out to find Blitz. It was the quickest time he could think of to talk with Blitz alone. It was an awkward time for a conversation. But he had to talk to her. As soon as possible.

Storm sighedand wlaked down the street alone, he made sure noody saw him, he had too much on his mind right now and he was too confused...it wa slike his whole world had been turn upside down...

Saba sgihed, nodding absentmindedly, she lcosed her eyes "Slyth, I really knwo that but, something keeps tugging at my head, osmething, telling me to raise my paw up, I don't want but.." she stopped "God, I must osund crazy, really no need to think about it now." she sighed again, opening her eyes, looking at slyth "Really though, when I came outside, I was hoping to find you, to see you and talk to you. I really wanted to see you Slyth I did. That's why I came out." she smiled lsihgtly, quickly, alined their muzzles and pressed her nose to his. No one could have expected it, she hoped it didn't seem strange to Slyth.

Blitz smiled and nodded. "Thanks Max, I'll remember that." She hid a giggle that wanted to erupt from her when he'd mentioned being part wolf to be cool. Being a son of his, he did indeed have wolf blood in him, though not as much as she and Balto. Still, it somehow made her feel better that he, as well as Slyth, was so accepting of a wolf heritage, though Slyth and Storm were the only ones who knew she was half and half.

"Hmm, I think I'll just head back to Nome now, maybe go get some shut eye at Gunner's house. I think Slyth and Saba need some time to themselves now. If you go back to hang with them for a bit, tell them I'll stop by sometime tomorrow to check in."

Blitz smiled and winked at Max before lifting her nose and sniffing the air. As soon as she'd caught the scent of the town, she was off, picking her way through the underbrush, back home, so to speak. When she broke free of the trees once more, she continued walking to Nome and gazed up at the moon and stars, twinkling in patches where they weren't covered by thin clouds. The snow was still falling, though it had considerably slowed since it began.

She tried to gather her wits about her again, to compose herself and rebuild the wall that had refused to let much emotion seep through. She knew that she didn't have to worry about Gunner. He was used to her wandering off for days at a time before returning home. He didn't worry about her. She was more worried about the gossip in the boiler room that was sure to come of all the events of late, especially of Slyth's and Saba's relationship if they were found out. That was something she wasn't ready to let happen even if...

Slyth remained still, looking into Saba's eyes, their noses pressed together. For a few moments they stayed that way. Then Slyth moved his muzzle over hers smiling as he rubbed his nose against her. But it was quickly getting dark so Slyth broke contact first and nodded his head for her to follow him. "Come on Saba. We need to get home. Before it gets too dark"

Trotting off into the tangle of branches, bushes, and underbrush. As well as thorn veins. Stopping every now and then to help Saba out of the thorns, they eventually made it threw. But by this time, the sun was almost completely setted. It's orange glow over the horizon to their left, and the moon rising on the right.

They watched it for several minutes. Admiring the various shades of gold and orange. But it was short lived, for just a few minutes later, it had vanished. Licking his lips, he turned toward Saba, glancing at the town of Nome in the distance. "Well, come on."

Max watched Blitz run off as he sat there and thought to himself "well maybe i shouldnt bug them who knows what there doing right now" then grossed by the thought he started back home on the way he looked to see if he ran into Storm but he didnt , when he got home he layed down tired from all that happen and start to think about how Saba and Slyth were going to tell their parents......if they were

Saba smiled. Following Slyth through everything, being careful to not harm herself again. Then, seeing the beautiful sunset wiht him. 'Well, perfect day.' she thought. Her eyes glanced between the dusk sun and Slyth. Breathing deeply, Saba smiled again and nodded towards Slyth "Let's go."

Blitz finally reached the streets of Nome as the last lights of the day had faded into the darkness and she sighed. Home again, at least for a little while. She slowed to an easy trot, paying no mind to the dogs who were still up at this hour, heading towards Gunner's cottage at the end of the row. Perhaps I should grab something to eat while I'm there, I may not get time to hunt down any mice or birds tomorrow, she thought idly to herself. She tried not to let any other thoughts of Saba and Slyth penetrate that shield for the moment, though she knew she'd have to confront them later. And as for the whole Dart ordeal, she didn't know how she would handle that either. It'll come when it does, I suppose.

Slyth's ears stuck up, catching Saba's voice. He turned his head, looking at her, then stood up. Walking beside her toward their home. It wasn't too far away. It would take them, maybe a maximum of 10 minutes to get there. Then maybe another 5 to get home. Thinking to himself, he wondered just how much he and Saba could do in ten minutes. During the five minutes or so that it would take them to get to their house, they would have to act as simple brother and sister. Which ment, they would have to walk further apart, or one behind the other. And he was going to have to stop giving her this look.

He still hadn't forgotten about getting up to talk to Blitz. But now that he was looking at Nome, he suddenly realized; I don't know where she lives! Everytime he'd seen her, they had more of run into each other. But in the past few days, what with the mess with Storm and that gang and all, they hadn't really been apart all that much. Majority of the time had been to get some sleep.

[I just want to say this, Ive have my wisdome teeth taken out and the pain killer pills i have to take, put me to sleep for hours. So, it may be some time before i'll be back. Please continue this RP though. I hope to see some more posts when i return. Bye]

The black and gray pelted hybrid stuck her nose through the dog door of her musher's house and in a few moments, her entire head followed. She sniffed the air, detecting the warm aromas of sausage and beans and hurried under the flap into the kitchen. Her wet nose made contact with the man's pant leg and his head turned down to her.

"Oho, so you've finally decided to come home for a bit, eh?" His eyes twinkled in a jovial welcome as the tail on her rear began to beat back and forth with a ferocity he hadn't seen since she was much younger. Her maw fell open and her tongue hung out to the side as she smiled at him and it made him laugh and nod. "All right, all right, I'll get you some food."

Blitz sat patiently waiting at her bowl and as the musher slopped an unknown, warm liquidy substance which she immediately began to gulp down. The appropriately named 'Slop' slid down her throat and soothed her stomach just as much as a rare steak would. The half husky emptied the bowl quickly, tongue running over her lips to take in whatever had gotten stuck around her mouth and then sighed in contentment. She smiled up at Gunner again before standing and padding over to the corner of the kitchen where a blanket lay spread and a couple pillows leaned neatly against the wall. She fell down against them and her eyes shut almost immediately, the warmth and fullness lulling her into a dreamless sleep that night.

Saba, walking slightly behind Slyth, just thought about everything. How owuld their lives be aftrer this? It would be hard now for her to act noraml towards him after she confessed her feelings, and, the big question buzzing in herm ind was "What were Balto and Jenna going to say to the blood on both and Slyth? And what would they say if they found out?

Slyth didn't know how he was going to act entirely normal around his sister now that he knew that they both liked each other more than just family. Much more than family. However, he was still curious about what you could consider them. Mates? Boyfriend and Girlfriend? Mates seemed more of the right term, but he wasn't sure if, to be considered mates, did you have to mate first. It was one of those questions that he couldn't ask someone else. He'd have to figure it out on his own, but for the time being, he liked the idea of him and Saba being mates.

So why couldn't he just drop this feeling about Blitz? And also, how was he going to find her? He didn't want to be up all night trying to track her scent. And calling for her wouldn't be a good idea either. Shrugging, he decided, he'd just have to hope he found her quickly.

Though she slept without dreams, it still wasn't the peaceful, uninterupted sleep she'd wanted at first. Less than an hour into it, Blitz stirred again and opened her eyes sleepily to glare at the room around her in annoyance. "Stupid...merf...need sleep." But it was no use; she'd awoken now and there would be no going back to sleep until she'd somehow worked off the restlessness that had overcome her, no matter what it was.

Sighing and standing to stretch, her blue eyes flicked to the stairs which Gunner had gone up not long ago and she cursed silently. "I had wanted to stay just a little longer to let Gunner feel a little better instead of basically eating and running. Oh well, I'll be back in a day or two, and he'll understand." She stole quietly through the doggie door once more, out into the cold Alaskan night, toward the edge of town. With no idea what she was looking, or waiting for she sat less than twenty feet from the town's entrance, her breath like fog on the chilled air.

Within minutes, her waiting paid off and her curiosity was quelled as she caught sight of two huskies, walking together, though one lagged a bit. A grin came upon her maw and she woofed to them quietly enough so that they would hear but she wouldn't disturb anyone else. When they reached her finally at their own pace she whispered, "Hello again you two. My, you're awfully late returning, just what have you been doing all night." She snickered and winked at both of them, joking of course in a jovial tone.

[I'm fine, just a little distraught. I've been sick for a bit, I ate 3 chocolate ice cream klondike bars in one day. So I feel like puking, oh well... And Aniu, you're not obnoxious, I'm sorryu if it seemed I thought you wrre, but you're not.]

Saba, a little distracted from question, not really noticing anything. But, she smiled, glancing back to see a small figure. She winked back, saying something under her breath ''Don't get your hopes up we did anything Blitz." she smiled again then, stopped. Glancing to Blitz again she ifnally made the descision to pad along towards the figure qietly 'I'm already late, what harm will come if I'm a little later??'
