"Warbler it's fine.." Prince said gently, rising to his feet.
Princey growled. "It's NOT. fine. It hasn't been fine since you became a softy!"

A low rumbled grew in Jack's throat. Warbler mimicked her older brother, head lowered.
"What's wrong with liking kids? With having a LIFE?! WITH LOVING SOMEBODY!?!" Warbler shouted at Princey.

"Loving someone only gets you hurt," Princey said, his eyes on Prince, who folded his ears back. "Forget it. And forget you." Princey said, bounding off, past Prince whom he bumped violently. Prince hung his head quietly.

"Only if you're dumb enough to let them." Warbler scoffed after her uncle, still angry. Jack licked her tuft of fur, before carrying his fuming sister back to lay down.

Jeremy sat silent, watching Prince. The large grey wolf sighed and lay down, curling himself into the tightest ball he could accomplish, putting his tail over his face as he tried to shut out the world.

Warbler stared angrily off in the direction Princey had gone, then her eyes softened when she saw Prince.
"...Prince...?" She whimpered, crawling over to him, her belly on the ground.

xWolfPrincex · **Posted:** Mon Aug 22, 2011 8:59 pm

Prince didn't move, didn't stir, didn't even respond.
"Warbler...maybe.." Jeremy offered gently, this time not a hint of sarcasm was in his voice. "..We should just leave him alone for a bit.."

Warbler frowned, and stood, allowing herself to be carried by Jack. She folded her paws up against her chest and looked at the ground. "It's all my fault...He would becomme a softy 'f it werent for me.." She whimpered, watching Dalton trot below her.

Duke stayed by Jeremy, as Jeremy instructed for Duke to leave Prince be as well.

Jack followed Jeremy back to the den, and they all lay in wait for Prince to retrun. Warbler lay in a dark corner, hugging Iggy.

Jeremy sat at the front of the den, his ears folded back. He sighed.
"He gets like this sometimes.." Jeremy said. "He and Princey...they have a love-hate family relationship..."

Jack nodded slowly, mimicked by Dalton. Warbler continued to mope in the corner, only swishing her tail every sooften.

Jeremy stayed, watching over them as Prince would do.
After maybe an hour, when the sky was started to get dark, Prince crept over from the woods.

Egg · **Posted:** Tue Aug 23, 2011 2:17 pm

Jack had fallen asleep, along with Dalton. Warbler continued to sulk, and Jack lifted his large head to peer over at his sister.

Prince crept in and lay at the den entrance quietly, in his usual spot. He gave a nod to Jeremy and the blonde mutt disappeared into the night.
