Martha wouldn't let it go and followed him. "Look, I do love you but we have diffrent personalties." she said. "So we react diffrent, I love you with all my heart, I'm just saying it'd be hard to make a choice like that because ether way, I'd be hurting someone that loved me and you know my personality and why that would be hard for me...I guess its hard to assume that, isn't it?"

"I can help with that." said Purugly, walking in with a strange, blue pokemon. "I made some intresting friends through that Darkrai, this is Manaphy, a Legendary Pokemon. She has a move called Heart Swap, which can litterally let you feel what its like to be the other person by swapping their souls, the body retains the original personality so you'll expierence things through their minds." she said. "But she can swap you back in an instant." she said. "So I think for you two, its worth a shot, hey, maybe me and Delcatty should give it a try too." she said.

"Its completely painless and only takes a second to do." said Manaphy. "I assure you, there are no lasting side effects of it."

Manaphy waited for Martha to nod. She put one of her head tendrils on the back of each of their necks. She glowed and red energy came from Cody and greenish-blue from Martha. They were transfered into one another.

Martha gasped as she opened her eyes or Cody's eyes as it were. Their eye colors had switched though. She felt how Cody did, the dispair he got from his heart break. His love was just the same as her's but she realized the diffrence, the diffrence was the uncertainity Martha had in her body due to lacking her memories, in Cody's body, without that, it was easy to say exactly what Cody had. That was the diffrence. "I understand how Cody felt." she said, crying from the feeling of heartbreak. Her voice was Cody's, however. "What about you Cody?"

Manaphy nodded. She put her tendrils on their necks and Heart Swapped them back to their original bodies.

Martha gasped again as she opened her own eyes. She started crying. "I'm so sorry Cody, I love you so much, I didn't want to break your heart...I'm sorry." she said, hugging him with her vines. "I'm sorry..."

"You were there for me Cody." said Martha. "But we misunderstood each other, it happens." she said. After returning his kiss and hugging him until they were both comforted, she looked to Purugly. "Thanks for bringing Manaphy here Purugly, that really helpped, getting to see the world through Cody's eyes." she said. "And thank you Manaphy." she said. "Maybe we should all take turns being everyone else." she said. "That way we'll be a better team because we'll completely understand each other."

"I like that idea actually." said Purugly. "What better way to work as a team than actually knowing what its like to be each other." she said.

"No problem." said Manaphy. "But Purugly and Delcatty are next."

Purugly put her paw on his shoulder. "I'll understand you best, that's why I'm switching with you first." she said. "Alright, Manaphy, we're ready."

Manaphy nodded and put her tendrils on the back of their necks. Purplish-white energy can from Delcatty and pink from Purugly. Manaphy swapped the two into each other's bodies.

Purugly opened Delcatty's eyes with a gasp. Many things seemed simular, the self estime issues he had, the parents abandoning him (only in a more litteral sense than her's had), the fatherly instinct parrelling her motherly one. She understood his want to love her, how he didn't want to be abandoned again. She didn't like some of things particularally how he felt almost ready to quit and die. She nuzzled him, though their genders were temporally reversed physically. "I understand you, there are some things we defiently need to work on but now that I know you better, I can help you better." she said. "Alright Manaphy, change us back."

Manaphy returned them to their own bodies, Purugly hugged Delcatty. "Alright, whose next?" she asked. Instead of letting them pick, she spun around, her antana out. She ended up pointing to Cody and Purugly. "Hows that? You two want to switch?"

Manaphy put her tendils on the backs of their necks and transfered their spirits into each other.

Purugly opened Cody's eyes. She felt his feelings, she felt his love for Martha, though she didn't expierence and feel like she loved Martha in the same sense but felt how strong the love was. She felt Cody's uncertainties. They weren't nearly as complex as her own but she still understood them as well. She defiently understood Cody better.
