Meike laughed. "That's my job, big boy." she winked "And who knows, you may be able to grant me peace."


Kai winked at his brother. "Sure, Momma's boy, we're all glad you'll be happy again."


Kodi smirked and glanced at Goldie. "She is very pretty."

OOC: I think, I guess we can just do without him doing that, yeah we can skip ahead to Nome.

OOC: Okay, want me to do the first post?

OOC: Sure, please.

OOC: Here we go then!


A crowd had been established to the entrance of Nome. There were many anxious faces, including Charlie's, who was wringing his hat. All of the dogs had been taken care of, given as much support as they needed, and there were other doctors and nurses. He was on break. Charlie however seemed more upset than he should have; partly because some smaller dogs had not made it through. He looked to the ground, thinking of the animals.


Mr. Simpson had switched Goldie in a few times, and now, she was pulling the sled next to Tai. Lena was on the sled. Mr. Simpson put his hand gently on the wolf/dog's head, and began to rub. As he looked up, he saw Nome in the distance, and smiled broadly. All of his dogs, except for Kodi were ill and he could not wait to be able to see them working once more.

OOC: the other vet was named Rob, right?

Aww, Samson forgot Fang...

Balto smiled. "Guys! Look! There's Nome!" he yelled, smiling happily. "We made it!"

Cachen barked happily. "Yay! We're almost there!" she said, wagging his tail. He smiled to Goldie. "You'll get to see my momma."

Fang backed happily and howled. "We're almost there!"

Lena licked Samson's hand. She then smiled when she saw Nome, barking cutely.

OOC: Yea


I'm so sorry!!!

Kodi's muzzle creeped into a big grin, putting his last bits of strength into pulling the sled.


Goldie smiled, happy for Cachen. She looked up and saw Nome.


Tai felt an immense pride as she began to hear cheering. The townspeople's joy filled her, and she howled as well.


Mr. Simpson smiled, laughing as Lena licked his hand. He waved to the town, and heard people hurting their throats they cheered so loud.

Fang smiled, no one was insulting him, no dirty looks, just kind ones. He was happy, he's made amends to his father but he was happy to right his father's wrong.

"Look up on the hill." said Cachen, pointing to the aurora. "Just like when Grandpa did it."

OOC: I think Jenna and Balto went to put the aurora up but it not, we'll say someone else did it for them.

Rob watched on beside Charlie. "Well a lot of pups didn't make it but most of the adults did." he said. "We've got everything ready for the injection of antitoxin." he said. "Including the ones from the first sirum run." he said. "Balto might be 'the hero' but he's not the only one." he said.

Tai smiled at Fang, looking around at the humans that began to crowd around them. "Just what you wanted, right Fang?" she asked, her tail wagging lightly.


Goldie looked up, her eyes glittering at the sight. "Oh! Cachen, it's beautiful."


OOC: I think they did ^-^ I remember them discussing it.


Charlie nodded, a pang of sadness in his chest at the thought of the little pups. "Poor things...at least no others will have to perish."

Mr. Simpson issued the command to halt as the people ringed them in.

Fang nodded as several humans pet him. "Yes...yes it is." he said, smiling.

Balto looked to Jenna. "Looks like another outcast became a hero this time." he said, smiling.

"Its made by broken bottles, pretty isn't it?" asked Cachen, enjoying being petted.

Rob walked over to the crate and opened it to check on the medicine. "Good, someone help me with this." he said.

OOC: I think Rob figured out Katie was their mother, I seem to remember that.
