The puppy bounded into the room Scamp was in and saw Angel lying motionless on her bed. Cross's ears drooped and she crouched down a bit. "What..."

"Something happened," he said. "I-I don't know what happened. Could it have been, Kandas?" He gulped.

"No, he..." Cross thought for a second. "He didn't even come past us, Scamp."

"I know that," he said. "But, she hasn't been breathing since this morning. I didn't notice it till' now." Tears suddenly showed in his eyes. "I don't know what to do."

Cross felt horrible for her new-found friend. Slowly, she regained her upright posture and nuzzled Scamp. At the moment she had no idea as to what to say to him; Cross had never been in this kind of situation before.

T.P decided to get the attention of Owl by calling her fat, something he usually did to flare up her attitude.
"Shut it, Toilet Paper!" Owl growled back, causing T.P to laugh.

He ran out the doggie door onto the streets, crying. Suddenly, a car suddenly came out of nowhere straight towards him. He gasped.

Cross decided to not chase after him; he needed some time alone, right? But she didn't want to be in the same room with a dead body, so the red puppy gulped down her fear and scooted away from Angel and out the room. Sighing, Cross trotted toward the doggie door, she felt as if she'd overstayed her welcome at the house.

Scamp was too frightned to run, instead he screamed. But, it was too late. The car ran over his leg, and Scamp looked at it, too shocked, and frightend, to talk.

After stepping out into the mid-morning air, Cross noticed something standing in the street. It was gray and had ears..."Scamp?" She quickly ran up to him and her eyes went wide at the mangled leg her friend was staring at.

HermioneGranger · **Posted:** Fri Oct 12, 2012 1:35 pm

Scamp just looked at it, too shocked for words. "What have I done?" He lay his head on his paws and wimpered in pain.

"You got hit by a car!" Cross said. She grabbed his collar and attempted to pull Scamp from the street in case another car drove by.

"Okay," T.P said to Owl. "But you're still fat." The smirk he wore on his muzzle was suddenly wiped off when Owl charged him. He could see all of her razor sharp fangs and decided to make a run for it.

Scamp grunted, and tried to put all his weight on his injured leg, trying to help Cross, but collasped back down again.

"No, no," Cross said around the collar in her mouth. "I've got you." She managed to drag him onto the curb and let his collar go, hoping she hadn't choked the like out of him.

HermioneGranger · **Posted:** Fri Oct 12, 2012 1:55 pm

Scamp coughed a bit, but didn't choke. "I'm alright. I just need to get this healed or I," he winced. He couldn't speak anymore, since it hurt too much.

The female nodded to show that she understood. He lives in a house! He's got to have humans around or at least an older dog! Cross raced back into the doggy door and, ignoring the presence of Angel, started barking to grab the attention of someone-anyone!- who was in the house.
