Alfred groaned, and Arthur smirked.
"Fine." The american grumbled, walking over to play with Nic.

Kat sat lay on her bed, tossing up a softball and catching it as it came down. She looked at the ceiling for a while, but then grew bored and decided that she'd much rather go out. After getting dressed in her signature apparel, she headed for the door. Kristin was still at work, so she wouldn't mind. Kat caught the bus and went to the nearest bar; she then got a couple of drinks. Kat was content with sipping on a non-alcoholic pina-collate, when a group of guys approached her. Kat turned and shot a smile at them, used to being approached by guys. But these guys were different; they didn't look like they wanted to just talk. Still, she smiled at them and said a sweet hello. One of them, who looked to be in his early 20's with dark black hair and a bad-boy smile rested his elbow on the bar next to her and leaned in close to Kat.
"Hey there" He purred. Kat giggled at touched the tip of his nose.
"Howdy" She said, a smudge of her old Kentucky accent sneaking past. Kat silenced herself a blushed, but the men just snickered and circled her. That's when Kat began to worry...

Arthur chuckled and sighed.
"I think I'll go out for a drink..be back in a few minutes." The Briton said, grabbing the kes off of his counter and hopping into his car. He drove to the nearest pub, an parked in the lot, before strolling in.
"Hey there Arthur," the bar tender greeted him.
"The usual?" Arthur nodded and took a seat, looking around, unti his eyes fell o Kat. What was she doing here? And surrounded by..men...oh sh**. he thought.

The dark haired man took another step to her, his hips grinding her’s.
“Come on, let’s get out of here” He hummed in her ear. Kat gulped and tried to step away from his pelvis, but couldn’t. She was back against the bar. Kat kept a cool face, eyes unreadable, jaw jutting out a little. She looked him over…Kat was only 18…This man was like 20 something…Kat shook her head slowly, she didn’t like the way the others were looking at her.
“Nah, I think I’m good” She tried to say, but the man pressed up harder against her. He gave a devilish smile, one that to the untrained eye said ‘I’m dangerous, but it’s only one night’ but to Kat it screamed ‘murder’. She reached for her virgin Pina-Collate and gripped the icy drink with her right hand.
“Aw come on beautiful, you can trust me” He hummed in an oddly safe voice. Kat ducked to her left, out of the pressure of his hips, and turned away shyly.
“I said no thank you” She said, trying to be a sweet a possible to him. The man wouldn’t give up; his friends circled her again and tore her away from her corner of the bar. Kat found herself spinning uncontrollably, being shoved and pushed around in a circle.
“Please stop” She said in a confident voice.
“Ask and you shall receive” The devilish man purred, suddenly coming up from behind her and locking his hands around her waist. Kat twisted out of his grasp, only to be shoved right back into his arms.
“I said NO” Kat stressed, never showing her wild fear. From all the comics she’d read, she’d learned to never show fear, or else.
“Come on baby” He purred, closing his arms around her.
“Don’t call me that” Kat snapped, again twisting out of his grasp, only to be pushed back into his.
Kat finally felt that sharp edge of panic. She twisted away from him and swung her palm at his face, but he just grabbed her wrist and pulled her into his grasp. Kat would’ve screamed, but he had his hand clamped hard on her mouth. The man smelt of tobacco and leather. Kat struggled, but he was much MUCH stronger than she.

Arthur stood quickly, walking over to them. Even though he was about a head shorter, he had a few of them in strength. The Briton easily grabbed Kat's arm and yanked her out, pulling her negus him, glaring deadly at the men.
"She. Said. STOP." He snarled icily, venom flowing through his words. I then hit Arthur, Kay was his student. He taught her in history and grammar! What the he** was she doing in a pub like this?

Kat looked dumbfounded at Mr. Kirkland, she’d never really gotten an actual good look at him, but it was true, he was Alfred’s roommate.
“Mr. Kirkland!?” She asked in astonishment. The boys looked at her to Arthur and frowned, their plans ruined.

"We'll be leaving now boys," Arthur growled, pulling Kat out of the bar. Once Arthur loaded the girl into his car, he shut te doors and looked sternly at her.
"What te he** are You doing at a bar Katherine?!" He demanded, shoving the keys roughly into the ignition making the car roar to life.

Kat growled and crossed her arms over her chest, she hated being called Kathrine. The girl looked up at Arthur, who was clearly upset, and cleared her throat.
"First of all, don't call me Kathrine, that's not my name. Secondly, what did it look like I was doing? I was having fun!" She growled. After she cooled off a bit them looked at him.
"Hey, you're Alfred's roommate? Huh?" She asked.

Arthur rolled his eyes, taking the longer route possible so he could talk to Kat.
"Please," He scoffed. "Kat is a ridiculous name, however you are American so I can see where you got it." He growled, keeping his emerald eyes on the road.
"And yes Alfred has been my roomate for almost three years now. The longest years of my life." Arthur replied. "You two together?" He asked, before muttering, "The git must be Bi.."

Kat rolled her eyes, too. Then paused at Arthur’s question.
“Uh…I don’t really know. I mean, he accidentally kissed me, then acted like he killed my dog and ran off” Kat laughed, but it ended with a sigh “So I don’t know if he hates me or what…” Kat added.

Arthur chuckled, something he never did infront of his students, let alone smile.
"No, far from it really. The twit's just confused, and guilty." Arthur clarified.

"Guilty?" Kat asked, her voice questioning.

Having said that made Arthur quagga could have pulled the words back into his mouth.
"Da**.." He growled lowly, an sighed. "I dont know if..Alfred'd have told you this already.." The older said looking at the road with false interest. "He is..well, no used to..da** I don't know. The twat was and may still be in love with me." Arthur said with a huff.

Being caught off gaurd Kat erupted in laughter. She laughed so hard her stomach hurt, but as she stopped laughing she realized that Arthu wasn't laughing along.
"Oh" She said solemnly, then she thought about the history homework that was due on monday, it was a huge project based entirly on something Kat had been too lazy to read. She frowned at this the rolled her shoulders back.
"Do I have to do the project?" Kat moaned, looking at her history teacher.

Arthur's 'teachery-instincts' as Riley called them, or 'I'm an old man acting' as Alfred called it, kicked in at the mention of work.
"Of course! What you think now that your friends with Alfred you get to bypass your work? I'm no bleeding muppet like him." He huffed.
