Dad squirmed helplessly, whimpering like the coward he was. Mom yelped for help from her mate, when a large black male bounded over. He looked like a shepherd, but had that gleam in his eye, the same as the siblings. The male snarled and threw himself at Mom, snapping onto her neck, killing her instantly. Warbler and Dalton had frozen in the sight of the male, before blinking and wagging their tails.
"Jack!" They woofed in unision.

Prince glanced over at the new canine that had appeared.
Princey looked over as well, his eyes narrow and his jaws caked with his opponents' blood.

Dad took advantage of the moment, and blinded by his fury pulled out from under Prince to attack him. Jack smiled at his siblings, and gave each a lick and a sniff, before twisting around to attack Dad. He pulled him viciously off Prince and threw him in Princey's direction.

Though smaller then 'Dad' by a large degree, Princey snapped into the air and swung the shepherd around, ripping into flesh as he tossed him forward into the ground. Once 'Dad' was down Princey wasted no time jumping on him and ripping at anything his quick teeth grabbed on.

Dad was killed in an instant, and Jack huffed with self-proudness.
"Good ridance." He scoffed, then smiling at Warbler.

Princey stood over the body and looked over at Prince, his eyes full of fury toward his older brother.

Warbler and Dalton talked happily with Jack, who listened before excusing himself to go talk to Prince.
"Hello. You must be Prince. Glad to see that Warbler finally has someone to care for her. Im Jack, the eldest." He introduced himself.

Prince nodded. "Pleasure to meet you." he said, ignoring Princey who sat off to the side, giving him dirty looks.

"Whats with the grouch over there? Princey right? And Jeremy, and Ah, Duke. My Warbs talks fondly of you." Jack said with a wink, and Warbler blushed.

Duke smiled at Warbler when Jack mentioned him.
"Prince!" Princey snapped with a growl, Prince looked over. "We gotta talk. NOW."
Prince groaned and rose to his feet, padding into the brush behind his younger brother.

Warbler blushed more, feeling all the blood rush ti her face and she hid behind Dalton. Jack chuckled, and walked over to lay behind his small siblings.

There was a moment of complete silence...and then Prince flew out of the brush, landing with a loud thud on the ground.

Warbler bounced up with snarl and began barking at Princey. "WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM!?!" She growled, laying her paws lovingly on Prince's head. Jack stood slowly with a slight growl, swishing his tail protectively.

Princey's eyes were on Prince and Prince only. Princey growled.
"You idiot." he spat. "You've gone downhill further and further. You're wasting your life!"
Prince folded back his ears, remaining silent.
"You coulda been the best!" Princey snarled.

Jack bristled, and Warbler glared at Princey.
"What. Is. Your. PROBLEM?" She snarled, flicking her tail.
