Maria ran into the next room. There wweren't many hiding places to chooe from. She went into the bathroom and into the cupboard under the sink.
Danielle started off by following Maria, until the white pup went into the bathroom. Dani kept going straight until she went into the bedroom, where Scout's owner was sleeping. Danielle stopped in her tracks and all but stopped breathing.
Rose counted with her eyes covered. "Nine... Ten. Ready or not, here I come!" she said loud enough for the pups to hear. She didn't lower her head to sniff them out, that wouldn't be fair. She trotted into the kitchen and looked under the table and in most of the cupboards small enough for a pup to fit in.

Ana hid in a pillow in a spare bed room. She positioned herself so it couldn't be seen that a puppy was hiding in the pillow case.

Rose came back into the living room and sniffed the ground quickly. She followed Ana's scent a few paces before picking her head up again. It looked like Ana was in the spare bedroom. "I know you're in here Ana," Rose said, looking around the bed and all around in the closet. "Come out, come out wherever you are."
Danielle quietly walked into the room and to the other end of it to hid under the dresser. No one would ever find her here.

Ana smiled but didn't giggle or move, she was good at this game.
Aleu smiled. "Dani seemed so shy when we met her, she's benefiting from meeting us I think."

Rose hopped onto the bed to check the blankets for a puppy when she caught Ana's scent. She chuckled. "I know where you are, Ana," Rose said, eyeing the pillow.
"She's always been a shy kid," Scout said. "I think that her knowing she has more family is helping her get over it."
