Dusty's expression turned from shock,to complete anger,as she replied quietly, and angrily to herself,"What kind of mother am I,and where did I go wrong she wondered".

"Maybe the blame is mine, Dusty. I mean, I'm the one who has wolf inside, and Jackson must have started to feel his wolf heritage" Kodi sighed desperatly.

Jackson was sitting on a hill, watching towards the town, when one of his fellow wolves came to him.
"Jackson, why are you missing them? Don't you remember what they did to you?" the wolf asked, as he sat down beside Jackson.
"Yeah, but...they're still my family" Jackson sighed and looked at the wolf. The wolf laughed, and then replied:
"Hey, you're a member of our pack, WE are your family now" then he left.

Jackson looked after the wolf for a moment, then turned his head back towards the town, and sighed.

Kodi heard what Dusty told Summer, and rushed up to them.
"I'm coming with you" he said with a determined tone in his voice.

Kodi ran fast towards the forest, and as he got to a hill that separated Nome from the forest, he stopped so Dusty and Summer could reach him.
