OOC: I'm not Paws. JK, it's alright. I know you RP with a lot of people and names run together.

Loki barked pleasantly at the woman, letting her know he was pleased to see her too.
Flint did the same as Loki, following his example. "Hey Lyna, why don't you say hi?" he whispered to the human.

Ooc:// Yeah, they do. Whoops.

"No hi," Lyna pouted stubbornly. "No wanna go."

"Please, Lyna?" Sadie begged. "Just for a little bit. We'll even stay with you."

Lyna relented. "O'ay," she sighed. She looked at the woman, muttering a brief "hi".

Her confusion only increased. To her, it seemed like they were communicating with each other...but no, that would be impossible. SHe stepped back and opened the door. "Would you like to come in?" she asked Lyna softly.

Loki and padded closely behind each other, getting nearer to the door.
"Lyna, say yes, please," Loki ordered nicely.
"Yes, Lyna. Say yes," Flint echoed, trying to help.

"Yes, pwease," Lyna grumbled reluctantly. "No tellin' what to do," she added grumpily, looking at Loki and Sadie. She was unable to look Flint in the eye, since she was riding on him.

The woman was even more confused. Her crazy suspicions were proved further as Lyna talked to the dogs....by barking. She couldn't understand what the young child was saying, but judging by the irritated look in the female dog's eyes, it wasn't polite.

Sadie pressed her ears back against her head in irritation. While Lyna's....skills, had her fascinated, the human pup was stubborn and grumpy. And that made for a grumpy Sadie.

"Fine," Loki argued back. "Flint, go inside."
Flint walked further towards the woman, and waited for her to open the door.
Loki nudged Sadie, "Cheer up. Don't get angry over Lyna, she's just a mere pup," he told her, "maybe she's hungry or somethin'".

Sadie nodded, and slipped inside behind Flint as the door creaked open. The interior was comfortingly familiar, and it brought back earlier memories, helping to ease her irritation somewhat.

Loki followed the other two inside, and woofed softly at the woman. He sat down near where the others were sitting.
Flint, seeing Loki it down, told Lyna "Let's sit down," and waited for her to get off of him so he could sit comfortably.

"Thank you," Flint said, trying to be polite. He then sat down, comfortably, crossing his paws over each other.
Loki yawned, waiting for someone else to speak.

Finally, she had to ask. Leaning down so she was a bit more level with Lyna, the woman asked, "Lyna, can you talk to the doggies?"

Lyna nodded, still pouting. "Yesh. And they bossy." She seemed to find that thought amusing, and giggled a little, her pout turning into the beginnings of a grin.

"Lyna, where are your mommy and daddy?" she asked, trying to hide her surprise and slight curiousity.

Lyna shrugged. "I dunno. Mommy lef' me. Her tummy hurt, so she went to doctor. I didn't wan' her to go. I follow her, but I got lost." Her lip trembled, and tears spilled onto her cheeks. "I miss her," she whispered.

A motherly instinct overwhelmed the woman, and she hugged the young child quickly. "We'll find your mommy," she said.

"Pwomise?" Lyna asked hopefully.

"Promise," she comfirmed.

"What did she say to you?" Loki asked curiously. "Do you want to leave Lyna here, Sadie, she kinda seems alright..." he added.
"Heh," Flint said, "We promised tho..."

"Lyna seems to want to go find her mother. But Flint's right. We did promise. Let's ask Lyna, and see what she wants," Sadie said. Turning to the young toddler, the canine asked, "Lyna? Do you want to stay with us, or her?" she asked, gesturing to the woman. "She'll help you find your mommy. And-"

"You help me find mommy. I no leave. Stay wif doggies," Lyna insisted.

"We can bring you back every day for the lady to help," Loki suggested.
"That sounds god, Loki," Flint replied. "C'mon Lyna, tell the lady by so we can leave," he told the toddler. "If we are leaving right now...?" he added, the last bit like a question.

"It would actually be best if we visited everyday. Lyna would still see us, but we aren't going to be able to find her parents. Only someone who can ask around can help," Sadie said.

Lyna nodded slowly. "O'ay," she agreed reluctantly.

"Can you please tell the nice lady you'll be staying with her?" Sadie asked.

"Doggies say I stay wif you. They come and visit everyday. You help me find mommy," Lyna said, looking at the lady.

She nodded, looking startled. Further proof that there was more to the toddler than what first met the eye. "Oh, uh, alright," she said.

Loki gently nudged Lyna towrads the lady with his forehead, "Bye, we'll be back tommorrow, I promise," he told her, almost firmly.
"Me too," Flint said.
"What should we tell the others about Lyna?" Loki thought outloud, "Should we tell them that we're going to find her parents, and we probably won't see her gain after that, o something more postitive?"
