Meike laughed. "Did you ever see yourself complimenting him? Or a wolfess for that matter?" she asked, tilting her head. "But I have to say, Katie hasn't been looking so good." she whimepred at the image she had in her head, of Katie laying on her side, pale under her fur.
Kai looked away. "Yea...I guess I felt bad."
Goldie nodded. "Okay...a little odd. But we all have our quirks!" she grinned
Jenna looked at her belly. "Lots of love indeed."

"I know that." said Steele. "But they'll make it back in time." he said, smiling. "That's the good thing about Balto, he never loses."
"It was silly." said Cachen. "Momma was mad, but understanding." she said. "The den sure stunk that night though."
"I'm psychic too!" said Lena.
Balto nodded. "More puppies to play with!"

Meike chuckled. "you won't lose either, after a while...you're headed on his path."
Kai chuckled. "I thought she'd explode."
Goldie smirked. "No kidding?" she said softly.
Jenna nodded, laughing. "I know how much you love Puppies."

Steele nodded. "Well, we should get going...unless there's anything else we need to do."
"Yeah, but momma's always nice." said Cachen, smiling. "And she'll be nice again once we get this medicine home."
Lena nodded. "Yep, I can't control it though." she said. "Right Tai?"
Balto nodded. "I do, they're so cute."

Meike shook her head. "Nope, waiting for you." she said with a chuckle.
Kai nodded. "We'll be there soon Cachen."
Tai nodded, her tail wagging slowly. "Yea, you've done very well."
Jenna nodded. "you were so happy when our first litter was born."

Steele nodded. "Alright, lets go, but let's not let them know we're following." he said, starting off.
Cachen nodded. "What do you think momma will think when she sees Goldie?"
Lena nodded. "It's weird, my eyes glow yellow and I see and here things, its scary sometimes."

Meike nodded and followed close behind. "WE? I'm invisible to everyone but you."
Kai smiled "I think she'll be happy for you and sad because you're not her baby anymore."
Tai nodded. "It's scary for me too, I feel other people's emotions..."

"Actuelly, you told me pups can see you if you're talking to someone in our world, just not if you're in the spirit world." said Steele, smiling.
"I won't leave the den, I'll still be her Little North Star like always." said Cachen.
Lena blinked. "Wait, what?" she asked. "You never told me that."

Meike smirked. "okay. smart guy...I see your point. I myself forgot a rule." she shrugged "What is anyone gonna do? Kill me?' she cocked a brow lightly.
Kai nodded, feeling his own bit of sadness. "But you're growing up."
Tai nodded. "Yea...it's scary, I have people's thoughts and emotions in my head-it hurts too if it's real strong."

Steele chuckled. "Good point, you are immortal, that's very true." he said. "Come on, lets get going...I keep having this feeling that some needs fixed, something important."
Cachen nodded. "True but who'd want to be young forever? You'd never learn what its like to expereience things you cant' as a pup."
Lena licked her sister's forehead. "Poor Tai." she said. "Feeling better now?"

Meike shook her head. "I was never immortal, my spirit is." she blinked softly. "What could it be?"
Kai chuckled. "True."
Tai nodded. "Yea, I haven't felt a really strong emotion in a while."

"I don't know, I've just got a bad feeling Cain is going to do something bad." said Steele, concerned.
Cachen nodded. "But its good to be a little puppy too."
Lena nodded. "Ok, you know how much I care about my sister." she said, smiling.

Meike looked at Steele concernedly. "I wasn't keeping tabs on him, so I don't even know if he did or not." she put her ears back. "I'm sorry...right now all we can do is hope that nothing comes out of it."
Kai chuckled. "But it'd be better to be older. You'd have more freedom then." he looked down, worried. "But, I'm a little nervous of getting older..."
Tai giggled and nodded, licking Lena's cheek.

Steele nodded. "It's ok, let's go...maybe follow the sled team awhile, make sure they're safe."
"Don't be nervious, just live one day at a time, that's the best way to do it." said Cachen.
Lena nodded and looked back at Goldie. "And my new sister-in-law."

Meike nodded, smiling wide. "Good, it'd be nice to check things out."
Kai chuckled. "No, not about something simple..." he had to find words to explain it. "You remember that wolf that came to our den? From Momma's old pack?"
Tai giggled, watching Goldie go red. "She's not our sister-in-law...Yet!" she said with a laugh.
