It's still immature and childish though NOT TO START AN ARGUMENT I'm just stating my opinion. Bambi's one of those movies that you can grow out of quickly. I used to adore it as a toddler...but, now I'm 13...I couldn't care less. I don't dislike it...I'm just not too fond of it anymore. I love the action, the romance...it's just the beginning that I don't like, because all the characters act sooooo annoyingly..... *shudders* My opinion. I'm sticking to it, and there ain't nothin or nobody can do to change it
I've been wanting to know this for TOO LONG now! How is Bambi childish! For Pete's sake! After that's answered I may leave this topic!

Bambi isn't TOO childish to me, but I do say that The Fox and The Hound is better. It was alittle childish at the start of it, but the rest is no where as near as childish. I still gotta stick with The Fox and the hound.
But yeah -
1. Wolf Quest (Why? Because, come on .. Aleu: Ohhh, wahhh, I don't know who the he** I am - because I am stupid.... )
2. I'll think of more later. -coughlazycough-

Now that came from ye heart xD
Worst movies for meh:
1)Titan AE nah the animation was a good one for me but not actually into it, kind of boring eventually.
2)Dumbo when I was on younger age I liked it xD
3)101 Dalmatians, too obvious that the bad guys will lose, they never did even hide it too well so that's why a bit boring.
4)Balto 2-3 Like many said, storyline dumb and TOO childish...1 was da best
5)Well there are many that are very boring...xD

Yeah. State your reasons.
The majority of the people on the Bambi forum are ages 14-26.
And how is it childish with all the violence in it? Not to mention the incest love! Let's look at the content, shall we?
1. Bambi and Faline are cousins. They have fawns. Incest is definately NOT childish!
2. There's the famous death of Bambi's mother.
3. There is this one part when Thumper, Flower, and Bambi get "twitterpated". Very young children wouldn't fully understand this. I know I didn't when I was younger!
4. There is a deer fight.
5. There is this one part where hunters invade the forest and they shoot at a lot of animals. To quote:
Pheasant 1: Listen! He's coming!
Pheasant 2: Hush!
Pheasant 1: He's coming closer!
Pheasant 3: Don't get excited!
Pheasant 1: We'd better fly!
Pheasant 2: No, don't fly! Whatever you do, don't fly!
Pheasant 1: He's almost here! I can't stand it any longer!
*Pheasant flys up, you hear a boom, and the pheasant falls to the ground. The rest of the animals run*
6. Faline is chased by dogs.
7. Bambi fights off the dogs, jumps, and gets shot.
8. The forest fire.

OMG I TOTALLY AGREE
Olivia: Ummm...for a start...none of the children know Faline and Bambi are cousins. You're never told
Fair enough, there is violence. But no blood! I mean, in practically every single animated film there's violence
For instance, everyone says Lady and the Tramp 2 Scamp's Adventure is childish. If it is, then why does it contain:
1. Tramp commiting suicide by jumping over a waterfall
2. Scamp almost getting squashed by a rearing horse
3. Puppies getting chased by a rabid dog
4. A pup getting thrown at the wall and almost dying
5. Fear of brutal attack and death(Scamp getting attacked by Reggie in their cell in the dog pound)
See, they're hardly different then the points you gave about Bambi Yet everyone still says Scamp's Adventure is childish. I think it's childish myself. But it's the cuteness, stunning animation, creative songs etc. etc. that got me so into it

Well, in the novel it is clearly stated that they're cousins.
And what rabid dog? I didn't see any rabid dogs...

Well...Reggie, the big crazy Bulldog thing looks/acts pretty rabid to me. Frothy mouth, wanting to destroy everything in site...
