I felt the same way with the mouths, but after a while, I got used to it. Other than the mouth movement it's a great show. I finished it and I'm almost done with GNG. Both great shows.

Their mouths do look funny, especially the lower jaws. You just get used to it after a while. One thing that bugged me was in the first few episodes the dogs said something and their mouths didn't move. That improved as the series went on, though.
I don't like the fight scenes either, especially when there's just a "spray" of blood coming from the dog. It's just so... fake.
The last episode was beautiful animation-wise. Am I the only one who laughed when Hougen got struck by lightning?  That just seemed so out of place.

Just finished watching Weed yesterday.
I have some questions I'm wondering if anyone knows the answers to though.
I didn't get the glowing. What was it? (When Smith glowed, Hougens claws glowed once too...)
And what happend to Smith's leg? It was there one moment and gone the next.
