Well, I agree that has unfortunately happened thanks to the "FAD" (which I could have cared less about, with exception of my graphics . . . that's a different reason, but I digress), but I will say I am neutral about the situation - My decision to leave the site is for a whole different reason that is between me and Steet. I'll leave it at that.

I have decided to not "leave" leave the site, but only update this and my graphics section when I have more "kid-friendly" things, as it would be much approved by Steet and the protective general public that surfs the Interweb. I'll also still rant and join in discussions on the other parts, but I won't be on here as much as I have been lately.

New year, new me, I suppose. But I apologize if my decisions have enraged you, disappointed you, or heck, even pleased you ( . . . who would that be?).

I do agree that this site was once great, and just like in one of my fics, it has begun to crumble into ruin. *sigh* I really hoped it wouldn't come to this, and sad to say, I doubt BS will ever be great ever again.

And for the last time: It's Fan Fiction Now, not Fanfiction.net! Two different sites. I personally know the owner of FanfictionNow, and she really does accept anything. So if you want to join for free, feel free to! I insist. Fanfiction.net does have limits, so more likely not all of your fics would be accepted.

Steet: I do understand your point and your reasons that you have clearly banned anything that mixes the words "gay" and "Balto" together, but maybe there is another way that all can be resolved (hopefully it's not already too late to do something about it that everyone could accept). I agree with Drew on this: this new rule is just adding fuel to this now-higher flame war, and the only way to douse it is to just deal with it. Maybe a new site would work . . . but I doubt it.

But as a closing note, I'd like to think that there is some way that we could all resolve this conflict of DOOM without firing more discussions on the matter. Heck, we all have to realize that we are all equally to blame for this rule. I agree that this has gone too far, and Steet did the right thing by actually doing something about it (even if he now regrets doing so). We, whether you oppose it, support it, or are neutral, could have done something too. Even the moderators aren't perfect and they can't check everything (neither can Steet). Yes, even the newbies, who act like they don't take the forum's rules to heart, are equally to blame, for they should have thought before they wrote. We aren't perfect; heck, no one is . . . not even "Dictator Steet" (gah, sorry. I can't help it.) and his delightful crew of mods are perfectly perfect. Think about that. I just really want to wish that things will all work out better this year, and that maybe we can all learn to be better after this terrible incident.

Err, I don't know what you're talking about...There's nothing more but this rule to me.


Some say this, some say the opposite...But I would say that it is TO ME a step BACK to what the site was, instead of the contrary.


You can't say this has come all of a sudden, I had already tried many things before to prevent this. (eg : "report" button at the bottom of the fics, the fanfic rules that allowed gay content but not sexual content...)

Just because you're outlawing these fics, doesn't mean that the writers are going to stop. There's going to be controversy no matter what. You can't change the writer's way of writing

Okay, okay everyone. What's done is done.

So why are we still talking about it then? Steet made the rule and I'm no longer posting my fics here on the site or the forum (unless I feel that a fic is necessary) - can't we just leave it like that?

And besides, this is totally off-topic, and I fear that it could be locked due to this banter.

Back to the subject: I will be posting a few new stories on FFN.com, including:

- an update on "Proud of Your Boy", which isn't on the site yet, but will be for your personal enjoyment!
- the first chapters of a couple of new stories: "A Time to Live" (the sequel to "Lupine Call" and "Change of Heart"), "The Wild Melody" (an Aleu-centric "What if?" tale), and some others that were previously on the BS site
- an update to "Forgive Me" (I'm sure you've all been waiting for it!)

and a lot of other surprises too!

Oh, and I'll be sure to read the other fics that some of you have already posted on there! Hurrah! ^__^

Thank you for your support and maybe when things change for the better, I may return my stories to the site once more.

Hey all! I've been hard at work on the latest updates for my fics (I'm really not sure when they'll be up on the fic site, but they'll be there soon enough!), but I do have some good news:

I have finished a fic that some of you have been waiting for! (And no, it's not "Forgive Me" . . . sorry, guys. I'm still on hiatus for now on that one.) I'll send you the links when it becomes available to read.

Also, I have other fics to update and post, so look for those within the next couple of weeks. Later!

I didn't know you very well Juuchan, and for that I am sorry , because you seem like a cool person. I'll still miss you and I'm sorry all this controversy flared up...I guess BS was not ready for that stuff...sigh...I am glad you decided not leave entirly though...I also plan on reading some of your fanfics once I get some free time away from homework and the like...

Well, I'm sorry to see you go, I really enjoyed your ballads. (Did I spell that right? I gotta quit doing that...) I hope you may change your mind and post some fics that are G or PG. Until then, I hope you read some of my better fics I have once I post them.

Well, it's good to know that one's finished. I'll be on the look out for a PM from you!
'Til then, keep writing. Fight the writer's block.

Hey all!

Wow, has it been two months already? Yes, it has, apparently.

Anywho, here's a long-overdue update:

- "Proud of Your Boy" is almost finished! Yes, I have started to post it on HERE and it's very close to being finished!

- "Forgive Me" - One Year Anniversary! I can't believe it's been a year that I've been working on this tragic tale of love, betrayal, and trust. To think I still haven't finished the next chapter of it . . . Still on Hiatus!

- New Fics! I have begun a new Aleu tale (it takes place during the events of "Change of Heart"), a tragic seven-part Balto/Jenna epic (Another "What if?" story . . . and you will be crying in this one, I swear!), and a couple of other ones too . . .

More info to come soon! (And yes, the "other fic" will be up in about a week! I hope, anyway . . .)
