Johnny texted Jenny,

I'm stuck studying and its boring af. Can I come study at your place? Figured having company would make it less boring, if that were even possible -_- lol

Jenny texted Johnny back.The text read:Sure you can come over!

In about half an hour, Johnny arrived at Jenny's house, and joined Jenny and Jenna in their studying.

"Hey!" Jenna said smiling.

"Hey Jenna." Johnny greeted, taking a seat next to Jenny and kissing her on the cheek.

"So," Johnny said. "Balto was teling me earlier that he wanted the four of us to go skydiving this weekend as a double date. You guys wanna go?"

Jenny froze at the word skydiving.Her eyes then turned into a white-ish blue-ish color."Skydiving?!I..I..I can't!"Jenny said.Jenny had a horrible tragedy when she went skydiving once.The rope snapped and she fell into a lake and nearly drowned.She still remembered it like it was yesterday.

"What's wrong, Jenny?" Johnny asked, one ear twitching slightly in confusion. "We don't have to go if you don't want to, we could try something else instead, like ice skating, laser tag or paintball if you want."

"It's not that I don't want to go...It's just..I had a tragedy when I was younger.When I went skydiving with Luther,his parents,my mom,and my dad.The rope snapped and then I fell into a lake and nearly drowned."Jenny said as her eyes turned back into the normal ocean blue color.Jenny sighed.She didn't want to let them down.

Johnny flattened his ears, a bit taken aback by that.

"Oh jeez... I..." his eyes softened in sympathy. "I'm so sorry... I didn't know. That must have been awful." Johnny then smiled sweetly. "I'm glad you're okay though. You were lucky that you landed in the water instead of on the ground. That could've ended a lot worse..." Johnny put his paw over Jenny's. "You're one of the best friends I ever had. It would suck to not have you in my life."

Jenny rested her head on his chest."I did get a little hurt though."Jenny said.Jenny lifted up her sweater sleeve.She had a big scar that was from her shoulder down to her paw."I got cut on a rock."Jenny said.Jenny then rolled her sleeve back down.

Johnny softly stroked Jenny's shoulder for a bit to comfort her from the painful memories, then he stood and took off his leather jacket and tshirt, then showed Jenny his back, which had multiple scars marked by several small, slash-shaped bald spotin his jet black fur.

"See those? My dad used to whip me with an old worn out extension cord whenever he was drunk back when I was younger."

Johnny then put his shirt and jacket back on and sat back down next to Jenny, flattening his ears and looking down at the floor.

"Sometimes he still does, if he's not throwing punches at me or lashing at me with different things around the house."

Jenny's eyes turn different colors because of her mood XD
Jenny heard what Johnny had said about his father.Her eyes started to turn yellow and her ears flattened.She started to growl.Jenny then snapped out of it."I'm sorry about the growling..It's just..Well I don't like when my friends get beat."Jenny said.

"It's alright." Johnny answered. "My point is that we all have painful memories like that, and there's no shame in them." Smiling sweetly, Johnny put his paw on Jenny's shoulder softly. "We'll let Balto and Jenna go skydiving this weekend, since he already paid for two so far. I'll take you out somewhere else this weekend. Anywhere you want to go. Just the two of us."

Jenny kissed Johnny's cheek."I'm thinking of going to my special place to have a picnic."Jenny said with a smile.Jenny heard the doorbell ring.She walked to the door and opened it.There she saw another one of her childhood friends,Lexy,Luther's sister."Lexy!Come in!"Jenny said as she smiled."This is Lexy,Luther's sister."She said.

"Nice to meet you." Johnny nodded genuinely.
