"Come on, Sabrina. Let's go." Sol-leks said. Sabrina got up, and they walked together. They licked each other along the way to the new den, and they stayed side by side the whole entire time.

As such, Marshall stuck by Farrow the entire way.

Koda and Kenai stayed side by side eachother.Kenai and Koda were meant to be mates."Kenai?You seemed..Like you couldn't sleep yesterday night.What was wrong?"Koda asked."Hmm?Oh..I had a..Bad dream."Kenai answered as she kept walking.

The pack kept walking on, then suddenly, Skidmark told them to stop. "We're here." He smiled. The pack was gathering around their alphas and looking at the wonderful sight. Green grass, a huge den that was lifted up by at least 3 tons of rock, tall trees, and even a herd of buffalo grazed near by. Skidmark new this was a good idea. Skidmark was the first the step into the den. All the males in the pack started to mark the territory as theirs. "My pack, this is what I was talking about. I know we've been walking for days, but I did this, for you!" Skidmark smiled as he stood proudly at the edge of the den.

Marshall was very grateful, and thanked Skidmark upfront.

"Thank you, Skidmark, for all that you do for us."

Skidmark smiled at him. "Your quite welcome, Marshall. Skidmark smiled, then coughed hoarsely. A few weeks later, Skidmark was lying down, dying, with Rochelle, his mate, looking down at him. He closed his eyes as soon as Marshall and Farrow walked into the den. Rochelle glanced at them quickly then back at Skidmark. Marshall came in to ask him something but was stopped as he saw his alpha on the ground, motionless. Instead of asking the real question, he asked what was wrond.

"Oh my gosh!" Marshall exclaimed, immediately concerned, and sat down by Skidmark's side. "Skidmark... what's wrong?" Marshall flattened his ears, looking down at him sadly. "Are you okay...?"

Kenai went to the new den.She saw Skidmark on the ground."Skidmark!Are you okay?Is anything wrong?"She asked shocked.

Skidmark opened his eyes and looked up at Marshall. "He's sick and dying." Rochelle said as Skidmark's head fell back to the ground. Slowly, Skidmark spoke. "M-Marshall, g- go get mm-y s-on, R-RipSling-ger." He said.

Marshall immediately did what he was told, went to find RipSlinger, and brought him back to the den. RipSlinger and Marshall both sat at Skidmark's side.

Skidmark looked up at the black wolf, RipSlinger. "Son, I want you t- to know I l-love you, and you'll become t-the n-new alpha m- ma-male." Skidmark said looking at him then closing his eyes. "Dad. I love you too." Rip said looking his dad over, frantically. Skidmark opened his eyes and looked at Rochelle. "Rochelle, I love y-you more than anything an-" Skidmark didn't get to finish his sentence before his eyes roled back into his head and he stopped breatheing. "I love you too. Rochelle cried.

Marshall lowered his head sadly, in mourning.

"Skidmark.." he whispered sadly. He then went to Rochelle's side and nuzzled the top of her head to try and comfort her.

Rochelle looked at him kindly. "Rip, I'm now longer the alpha female." She said looking at him. "Looks like you'll have to find a mate." She added. Farrow had left the den as soon as she walked in and saw her alpha, so she didn't hear anything. "Oh, I have this one girl in mind." He said looking sad, but warmly. "I've chosen one of the helper alphas. Farrow." He stopped.

"What? Farrow? B-But... she's...my..." Marshall lowered his ears, then looked over at Farrow. "She's my girl..."

RipSlinger looked at Marshall. "Oh, well. Alright." He said smiling. "There's many others....." He added.
