"Cheyanne... I promise we will help your sister overcome this, but for now I think it's best that she stays at the den to keep from spreading the disease. I'm strong enough to fight now, despite my injuries. So please, I beg of you, let me go with you to save my siblings. If any of them died I could never forgive myself. I already lost Jack, I can't lose anyone more." Zasshu pleaded. "Please, we must hurry before they get seriously wounded!"

Cheyenne licked Zasshu's cheek, thdn his underarm. "Ok." Cheyenne said nudging his cheek. Aspen snarled. The pack was murmuring to Cheyenne, "Cheyenne, do it before it spreads. " One male wolf said. Other male said this " You must kill her, its the only way." Cheyenne looked at her sister. She knew Zasshu was wrong this once, mainly because he's hurt. Once the disease called rabies hit, thdy can't overcome it, its there to stay. "Zasshu, I must do it. Its the only way.

" Aspen made this Blood - curdling snarl, loud enough to scarce the whole spots off of cows. Cheyenne bared her teeth. Aspen lifted her head made a blood curdling snarl once more, she started running towards Cheyenne. Cheyenne went for her throat, Aspen screamed a cry, with a snarl. Before Aspen died, The pack, Zasshu, Aspen, and Cheyenne, heard a familiar howl.

Cheyenne was standing on her hind legs, with Aspen dangling with her throat in Cheyenne's mouth, biting harder. Cheyenne cried, she and everyone else, heard the howl once more. Aspen twitched, she fell to the grownd. Cheyenne dropped to all four feet, she turned to Zasshu, "Go Zasshu, help Rukii." She said smileing. When Zasshu got up finally, he had more strength. But then a wolf walked into the den, he looked at the dead body lying on the den floor. He dropped a tear, he looked at Cheyenne then smiled. He was a little bloody here and there, but most of it was dry.

He came closer into the den. Cheyenne growled. He smiled, no need for that Cheyenne. He came closer, he licked her on her neck. She start pacing, ad jumping. It was Jack. He was ok. "DAD!!" Cheyenne said jumping up and down. The pack joined in. Tso other wolves came in, it was Rukii and Shinso. Cheyenne looked over at the two, "Where's Markus?" She said tilting her head..

Zasshu flattened his ears, but glared sternly.

"Where. is. Markus." he demanded.

They both ignored him. Then the pack heard a gunshot. Luckily, no yelp. Then another, nothing happend. Cheyanne walked to the edge of the den she looked out. Markus made a yelp in the distance. Cheyenne bolted out running to find him.

Markus made it to the other side of the river then layed down. A fee minutes later, Cheyenne found him. Zasshu was discussing something with his brother, and sister. Cheyenne helped Markus up, then walked him to tge den. He had not been shot, but nearly had. The hunter missed his back, he managed to scrape fur, and a little skin of Markus's back. Markus made his way to the entrance.

Zasshu glared at Shinso and Rukii.

"Stop dodging my questions! Is Markus okay? Tell me!"

Then, Cheyenne walked into the den, carrying Markus on her back. He was still breathing, but his back was stkll sore from the gunshot scrape. "Here Markus we're back." She said smiling. Markus stood up, he had his paw over the shot scrape, so Zasshu couldn't see. When Cheyenne moved his paw Markus panicked. It was still a little wet from blood, but not much.

Zasshu spun around instantly and went over to Markus.

"Markus, you're okay!" Zasshu sighed in relief.

Zasshu started to lick the wound on Markus' back.

"Markus, what happened?"

Cheyenne started licking Markus' wound aswell. "He was shot. Short of , he barly missed. This scrape is the result." Cheyenne said as Markus sat down.

"Ahh, its nothing." Markus said scratching his ear. Jack came over (recap, wondeful said he came back so here) he lick Cheyenne's cheek.

Krey burst through the underbrush, her spring hare kill was left behind with a trail of scent and blood from the moment he heard the the gunshot. The hair on his neck stood stiffly up, and he spotted Markus and Zasshu quickly. The beta felt a growl rising in his throat and he padded into the den where they were gathered. "What happened?" He snarled with anger, looking up to Zasshu with questions gleaming in his yellow hazel eyes.

[Not to be rude, but it's a bit confusing to keep up with all these characters.]

Cheyanne snarled at Krey. "There was no need to come in like that. Markus is fine." Cheyenne said as she stood up.

Recap: Cheyenne: Alpha female. Zasshu: Alpha Male. Aspen: Beta ( she's now dead) Markus, Shinso, and Rukii: unknown, ask Keelh. Jack: HA ( HA means Helper Alpha) Ok? Ok.)

The male beta snarled and gave a husky laugh. He meet the Alpha female with a daunting glare, yellow eye's gleaming. "Oh yes, fine." Krey was still bristling from paw to head, not able to process what was going on. "There's a human obviously near by, who knows what he is doing. Hunting maybe, or here to kill us."

Cheyenne let out a low growl, that's the scent she and Zasshu had encountered early before Aspen died. "Zasshu, I need to go find the hunter. " Cheyenne said, knowing he'd probably disagree. Cheyenne went over to him. She sat next to him, and put her nose under his chin. She whispered calmly, "Zasshu, I must go." She then looked up at him, "I love you." She said standing up. She waited for his response.

Zasshu smiled lovingly at Cheyanne.

"So what's the plan?"
