The tan leader soon picked up her scent and quickly found Gia, but she had backed into the shadows. "Gia, i-it's me," he said, waiting for her response, if any.

"Why are you trusting HIM?! Nick..well, he's just a jerk, y;know? Anyway, me and Cookie are FRIENDS!" T.P barked.

T.P didn't even attempt to argue; the tan puppy padded back out the way he'd come in and, as he passed outside the building, he felt rain drops begin to sprinkle his fur.

"Where's Cookie?" May repeated, now standing stiffly in front of the others.
"Dunno," Kandas mumbled and looked away. "Anyway, that's not our problem, or even yours, Country Rat," he said, using the hated nickname he'd come up with for May.

"Who needs her anyway?" the mutt asked himself as the rain pounded down upon him. What luck he thought bitterly and dashed for the gang's alley.

Once he reached the gang, T.P saw full fledged chaos: There was May and Kandas fighting over something and biting each other hard enough to draw blood. Penelope, along with Bruce, were trying to settle everyone down, but T.P knew they'd use violence soon. Most of the other members were cheering the fighters on. Suddenly, May and Kandas fell into the mud, sending it flying everywhere, and started fighting like they were in a dog fighting competition.

T.P ran past the stunned and grinning faces of his pack members and leaped on top of the fighting duo; as he did so, he managed to pull Kandas from May. "Knock it off you two!"

"What? We were just playin'. Right, Kandas?" May grinned like a madman at the older dog. Kandas emitted a snarl and tried to lunge at the collie again, but T.P had a nice grip on his scruff.
"Stop it!"
"About time you stepped in," Cookie said as she pushed through the crowd. "I thought they'd kill each other for sure." She glared at them then added, "Go get yourselves cleaned up. Now."
"Yes ma'am," May said with a roll of her eyes before standing on wobbly legs to trot off to the leaking water tower.
