Back at Snob Hill, Bruce had begun to search for his friend. Maybe we can talk about this... he thought to himself as he looked around a few trash cans. Cross wasn't there. Maybe she went back home. The older dog began to start trotting towards the outskirts of the neighborhood.

"Love you, too," Owl replied.

Cross was sitting under an oak tree in the park just North of Snob Hill. She sighed heavily and lied down.

Sapphire and Robbie were walking in the direction of Tack and Owl, not noticing them. They were in a deep conversation about Tony's Italian Restaurant.

"Well," Owl started. "Do you remember the day that I ran into you at the park? Well, before that happened, Iggy had gotten captured by the pound and we, T.P, Dexter, and myself, tried to go after her but failed." She paused. "T.P fell off the truck and I told him that he could have gotten himself killed like that and he said something about how I was standing around doing nothing while he was trying to save Iggs, so I jumped on him and we started fighting..."
